Yeah, Me too... I have childhood dreams about The Man from U.N.C.L.E. and this particular episode and song and the impending avalanche. I've tried to quiz and ask others if they remember "Oi Oi Oi Oi, My Bulgarian Baby" and everyone thinks I'm crazy. I was, like 7 yrs old when this was on TV, and even my older sibs think I'm nuts,,,, What a flashback.

I remember it from that time too. I just found the video a couple of years ago. I probably would have found it sooner, but I was thinking it was Hungarian instead of Bulgarian, which threw my searches off. And I couldn't remember what show or movie it was from. Guess I was paying more attention to the way she was dancing! I still like watching after all these years.

If you judge _everything_ on TV now by reality TV being a thing while liking a piece of shit show like this, your taste in TV is suspect, and you're a fucking moron who knows *_nothing_* about quality TV (I'd say you should check out what's on streaming and cable, but that would be a wasted effort.)

Does anyone remember this song being used in (possibly) a James Bond type movie? Mid to late 60's? I originally heard (and only heard this once) at a theater back in the day with my older brother. The scene I remember is the band playing the song on a mountain with skiers and the band playing as the backdrop to the movie. Possibly a black & white film. For a while I thought the Beatles or a Bond movie (which doesn't make sense at all). One thing for sure is I saw this song on the big screen with my older brother (who sadly passed away years ago) and his friends. I believe I was 5 or 6 at the time. For a while I thought I imagined this odd but captivating song.

How ironic that Stephanie Powers, who, her entire life, denied that she was half-Jewish on her father's side, should end up dancing to such obviously eastern European-style music with partially Yiddish ("oy") lyrics by two Jewish guys!

Ah, yes, "The Girl From U.N.C.L.E.", episode 19, "The Drublegratz Affair" - first aired January 31, 1967. Easily the cheesiest, worst episode of the entire miserable series, considering Vito Scotti's over-acting and the ridiculous lyrics to the song in this clip. No wonder the series only lasted one season.
