When Robert Wagner stated who influenced him- WOW, now I understand why he is exudes such class. He actually knew some great actors and actresses and whatever they imparted into him he carried that with him on screen and obviously, in real life. Spencer Tracey is who discovered him and was his mentor, what a break! Robert Wagner’s voice is so unique and never changed. He’s a very suave man.

I think they become tired of answering the same questions. There’s an “interview” of them, *many* years ago, after they talked with some students at one of the Lee Strasberg acting classes. She said, (to paraphrase, and without being haughty), “we don’t go on talk shows just to go on talk shows, we only go to promote something.” And i think she’d much rather talk about wildlife conservation.

Karen Bullock Oh, I definitely think something happened between the two of them, and maybe we are never to know. But I always thought that there was something going on, even when I was pretty young I could tell. I don’t think he could ever tame Stefanie ( tie her down ) what’s really sad, is that I’ve read articles about his daughters Natasha and Courtney ( never think of Jill as their stepmother) They look at her as the woman that married their father. Which I think is really sad, because they were very young when their mother died. And what they needed was a mother figure, and Jill was never going to fill that bill. Stefanie might have ( but, she isn’t someone he could tame ) Jill was.

@@jenniferwellman5311 i disagree. *many* people who portray a couple on tv, while they may be very attracted to each other, choose to “save it all for the camera.” I envy the fact that they have been friends since 1957, when he and Natalie visited the studio where stefanie was dance auditioning for the movie version of “West Side Story.” I don’t think it was RJ trying to “tie her down,” because she has said, more than once, that bill holden was “the love of my life, my soulmate.” She also very much misses her second partner, tom Carroll. I don’t think it’s odd about Natasha and Courtney. I was almost 21 years old when my mother married my step-father (i never knew my biological father). I angered my step-father because i refused to introduce him as “my dad,” and he angered me by introducing me as “his daughter.”
