Sound engineers disaster drums sound like a cardboard boxes with lot of compressions. Rock sounding settings for jazz music is a conflict... Great playing good musicians. Same shit I had to face in 2003 playing north sea festival with a compressed drum kit 22 inch bass and rock cymbals on it...

Great players, nice performance, but too bad the mixin's so ugly. For another example : Eric Legnini, being quite the only harmonic multitimbral contributor to the whole, it's notes are far too muffled, though fantastic. And yes, as already mentionned, the drum set has a cardboard sound too.

Ecco il jazz che ammazzerà il jazz.. purtroppo il.jazz Contemporaneo ha preso una bruttissima piega in direzione del divertimento edp il virtuoisimo fine a se stesso.. Stefano ...bollani ....è un grande spirito ma ..fa troppo cabaret.......mortificando lz musica perché in tv..in 1 minuto spezzata 5 brani...ma cosa significa ? Dove starebbe k piacere ...ascoltando un simile spettacolino ?..poi dal vivo la palla jazz è ancora più grande perché i musicisti si mettono a giocare con il pubblico facendogli ripetere strofe o coinvolgendoli... Come se il pubblico fossero delle scimmie e quindi ci sarebbe da stupirsi si riescono a ripetere delle frasi musicali..... veramente non riesco a capire il senso di tutto questo pur essendo io molto Gioioso e leggero Non è una questione di leggerezza....è che il jazz è diventato eccessivamente leggero un milione di note in S Visature...inutili che appassionano solo studenti ai i primi anni su uno strumento .........per trovare un pezzo Che dall'inizio alla fine sia coinvolgente come a remark you made.... ovvero un pezzo che ha senso profondità in ogni nota non ne trovi neanche uno che vi si avvicina lontanamente tutti i hazxmani credono di avere diritto essere anche compositore il che non è .. ecco il grande guaio. ...l ego..il famoso ego... il compositore è tutta un'altra cosa il compositore ispirato è un canalizzatore di musica che viene dai mondi sottili e lui non ha nessun merito se non quello di aver preparato il campo in migliaia di reincarnazione punto alla fine invito questi grandi musicisti jazz a fermarsi un attimo a riflettere su quanto sto dicendo ho 55 anni e sono un ricercatore musicale compongo anche per grande orchestra da autodidatta ma provate a sentire le cose tu sulla mia pagina fatte in me di punto non ho mai avuto tempo per suonare dal vivo e per questo oggi non esistono porte a cui bussare Ma tutto questo non è giusto punto di grandi etichette sono inaccessibili ma in un mondo normale queste grandi etichette anche quelle piccole dovrebbero prendersi pistolettate sotto al mio balcone per farmi un contratto punto invece Eccoci qua la grande deriva del jazz è iniziata dagli anni 90 si salva un minuto su 100 punto avete fatto diventare il jazz tutto un piri piri piri piri piri piri milione di note inutili mai una frase ispirata

È soltanto un parere personale il mio, ovvio che non sono un' esperto. Ho detto solo che mi dà noia e che, secondo me, Richard Bona lì in mezzo è sprecato. Ognuno la pensa come vuole, infatti rispetto il tuo pensiero. Mi piace potermi confrontare con gli altri, visto che in questo paese è rimasto solo questo. Saluti!

Rispetto la tua opinione, ma posso dire senza presunzione e con estrema certezza che capisci poco di musica jazz. Te lo dice uno che ascolta jazz da trent'anni e conosce molto bene i grandi sassofonisti che hanno fatto la storia e anche quelli contemporanei e tra questi Di Battista è certamente un gigante nel suo strumento. Richard Bona è sicuramente un grande bassista (ho quasi tutti i suoi lavori e conosco bene soprattutto le collaborazioni con Pat Metheny e Mike Stern) ma non è Jaco Pastorius che lui vorrebbe tanto emulare. Un consiglio spassionato: prima di dare dei giudizi affrettati ascolta questa musica con un approccio di tipo accademico prima che istintivo. L' istinto è importante, ma ci vuole anche l'accademia. Questa non è musica da discoteca dove l'accademia non conta niente, qui conta eccome.

+Salvatore Margiotta Dici che richard bona vuole emulare Jaco? Secondo me ha tutto un' altro tipo di concezione. Comunque Stefano Di Battista ha lavorato nella scuola dove sto studiando, insieme a Donald Harrison, dopodichè è andato a rovinare il disco a Petrucciani insieme a Flavio Boltro. Per caritá è forte, sennò non sarebbe stato lì, ma c' è di meglio, soprattutto per Richard.
