--Ending explained-- Ending explained (as much as it can.) The ending of the series can be a bit confusing when it comes to the letter and why did he hide it and if Sotiris actively involved auntie by asking her to give the letter and his notes to Stella. The truth is, there isn’t a correct or wrong answer but there are something clear clues that indicate what the case was most likely. What we know is that Sotiris wrote a letter asking her to meet him and for them to leave together (she said to him “I have a date” which answers to the question what he was writing to her more or less. We also know as a matter of fact that Sotiris gave his notes to auntie before he left, and before Toula told him the truth about Stella. So he was completely in the dark. I believe auntie Emilia wasn’t asked by Sotiris to give anything to Stella (considering that he hid it and removed it from his house) because I strongly believe Sotiris had no idea auntie already knew about them (and promoted it). He was unaware, when it came people knowing what going on between them, because truly he didn’t spend much of his time with his family, if anything he spend the minimal amount of time possible due to feeling like a disappointment and an outcast. His family’s view of “good” and “successful “ wasn’t exactly aligned with his simple, live in the moment point of view. Plus, auntie would be too happy to say to Stella Sotiris wanted me to give you this! With that being said, he wrote her a letter and left it there thinking not only that auntie was unable to read those (which he was right) but had no knowledge or reason to give or even talk about it with anyone and especially with “Vicky”. Now that’s where a couple of theories have developed, according to the character’s personality and the facts surrounding the situation. Sotiris is deeply (and secretly) romantic. I believe he wrote the letter not only to get out of his system some of his love and hurt, but hoping (helplessly and subconsciously) that somehow she’ll find it and if she cares or loves him enough, search for his notes and actually show up and choose him. In this scenario, in his head, believed that it was almost impossible for something like that to occur but I have a feeling he would still be waiting (he even went to trouble to write to her where to find him, the exact location) for her to that specific spot, knowing the next day would be marrying his brother. Love isn’t a logical thing, and culturally speaking that isn’t crazy to consider someone would be so deeply affected to do something so seemingly hopeless. (I have many real stories to share, hopelessly romantic things happen left and right!!) The other theory would be that he wouldn’t be waiting but that wouldn’t be like Sotiris. It doesn’t sound like his character. After the first time they made love, you can clearly seem him getting softer but more to himself and more hurt, also physically was more in tune with Stella. The way he was looking at her... jeez, I need a Sotiris myself! But anyway, that’s what I believe. Of course after he learned the truth (that she doesn’t love his brother, and she was never with him at all, there wouldn’t be any way he’d allow her to marry Nick. He might not be talking much, but Stella is his woman. The little moster even “told” her he loves in the most public way possible! P.S by the way, they were heading towards the airport at the end!

Who will answer my question, in "English" ? Here it is. Did Stella know that Sotiris was behind her to the Taxi and just keep going or did someone tell her later?
@robinh9081

Hello :) How are you going? The answer to your question, is that Stella knew that Sotiris was running after her and she felt like she had to get going. There is proof of that when Sotiris, the night they slept together, asked her "Why didn't you stop?" and not only she didn't look surprised by the fact, but also even though she had her reasons, didn't give him an answer, at all. Plus, he was screaming her name from the top of his lungs! Truth to be told, when she confessed her love to him, the timing wasn't ideal. She was losing the only people she considered to be her family (since she didn't have one on of her own, growing up. She was even calling them mom and dad), but also, knew fully well that what she did was illegal and didn't want to cause any harm to the family (they were well-known, considering how well off they were) and any harm to herself as well. She knew she had to return back the life, that her name wasn't "Vicky" but Stella. She needed to figure herself out and heal her heart, I believe. If you have any other questions, I'm right here

What's your favourite moment in part 4?

The 2nd scene, with tipsy Stella and pissed off Sotiris. But the whole series is great, fun and original, better than many Hollywood productions, it's really a showcase of Greek talent with amazing actors and a reminder that Greece is the cradle of theatre and good acting. It makes you fall in love with Greek people. I'm a bit confused by the ending though: so, did Sotiris give his aunt his notebook knowing she would give it to Stella? When did he write the letter to her, after talking to Toula? And did he ask her in the letter to cancel the wedding and meet him at night in front of the gate? Also, why when talking over the phone to Vicky (the top model) did he called her Vasiliky instead of Stella? Did he knew about the switch before his chat with Toula?

UNA Cring also, about the real Vicky! No, he didn’t know the truth at all. She introduced herself as that to him for two reasons 1) to be getting info about Stella and Nick and 2) in case Nick and herself were getting back together to not have to lie about her identity. She told him she was a “friend” of theirs and she was happy for them... both statements untrue!

@@robinh9081 Robin H Thank you so much for taking the time to give all these details, you're so kind and wonderful!!! Now I understand better the plot, but I'm still so intrigued by his actions & character, was he all the time doing exactly opposite than what he was feeling? I guess there was some internal battle in his soul, maybe on one hand he was attracted to her (or maybe in the beginning he just wanted what his brother had??), and on the other hand he was repulsed by her (like in his dream where they were married and she had mayonnaise on her lips)? His personality is so hard to read for me, I'm impressed by Stella's persistence to crack him, if someone had acted like that towards me, I would have imagined he hated me. No matter how many roses I would have found on the pillow. 🙂 Tough guy, as Stella said. Tough to decipher. And very good looking! 😀
