A great video. I just spent the last 24 solid hours going through each and every step of this. There were a few things that you did "behind the scenes", but not many. I was able to figure most of them out (I'm still using [RelayCommand] instead of [ICommand] since you didn't explain what namespace to include, but RelayCommand still seems to work). However, in the last one minute of this video, you pointed out that when you select "Edit" on an Employee in the list, that it went to the AddEmployee.xaml page, and acted as though it was Adding a new entry (didn't load the prior values, or have an Update button....) . At the very last moment - you said - 'OK - now it will load the data into the form for an edit operation.... It does not. Yes, I'm going on to the next video. I did however try to leverage navparameter in the EmployeeService, like this: var response = await AppShell.Current.DisplayActionSheet("Select Option", "OK", null, "Edit", "Delete"); if(response == "Edit") { var navparam = new Dictionary(); navparam.Add("UpdateDeal", deal); // Changing this to "UpdateDeal" parameter await AppShell.Current.GoToAsync(nameof(AddDeal), navparam); } Didn't work though. I will go to the next video to see if you showed how to fix that. You do a really great job of explaining what you are doing along the way. I'm trying to increase my skills in C# by constructing a Xamarin app, and now a .Net MAUI app. This is an ongoing effort for me to understand MVVM. Thank you for the time you spent putting this together.

btw, I'm not using "Employees", but a "Deal" - like a Deal with a name, dates, etc.

@@MTSightseeing the default .NET MAUI app template is about 26.8 mbs when apk is generated. If you disable AOT on Maui the app size gets much smaller. I dont know if AOT on Xamarin Android is enabled by default but if not it would explain the difference

I am completely new to Maui development and am confused at some things. You added a parameter to a page constructor and I cannot run that because you must have done something behind the scenes. I watched and watched the portion of the video over and over and I do not believe I missed anything. This will make me lose heart to follow.

You were going to well until 1:10:00 or so... Those cuts are the worst and you dont even explain how and why we went from using [Relay Command] to [ICommand]. And sending someone to another video s not the solution... Just keep getting better and pin an answer for that specific part and that should do

Works Good for those app that needs offline capability.......Data can be shared/synced to the server when there is internet......

what are you talking about? whether application has access to the data or not does not depend on what DBMS a server use, you will have access to the data when you got internet and you are making request to the right server(means that it's deployed), DBMS are different when it comes to capability, performance, features and etc.
