In this video I'll go over some of my process for approaching a design problem, and also dealing with a bunch of mistakes I make along the way.
As I established in my previous video, when I do the turbo conversion on the KE70 I'm going to need to relocate the battery, and where better than the boot?
I've already done a design and got some completed battery mounts manufactured to suit an Optima as that's what I'm putting in my 180sx - so I might as well use one here as well.
Normally I would go into more depth with the design for this but I thought I'd try something different and do it a little more "on the fly". Don't worry though, it's not gonna be a hack-job - I've got some (what I think are) cool ideas for how to make this a nice and tidy installation.
Along with this we'll also have a look at how the design is going for the KE25 Corolla Cam timing wheel and Crank Socket which I'm 3D printing so that I can dial in the aftermarket cam on the mighty 5k engine.
Let me know what you think and if you're enjoying the "vlog" style format ✌
