This is the best demonstration of how to remove and replace the radiator on a 2001 and later Dodge Caravan 3.3L. This guy knows his stuff...he is logical and methodical, he speaks slowly and clearly. Thank you sir. I watched this demonstration twice through, began my job and 2 hours later I was done. Saved myself several hundred dollars in the process. Many many many thanks.

Malcolm Castilow 😁 technically heat comes from your heatercore. The radiator helps cool the coolant to cool the engine. But great to hear this is a good video.

Thank you! Taking out that bar ( that has the hood latch on it ) everyone misses. removing that makes thew whole job tremendously easier! For myself, that's the part that helped me the most, so i could fix my fans, that someone else didn't install correctly.

I replaced my 2003 Caravan radiator after watching this video, thank. The only difficulty I encountered was How To Remove the Fan Electrical Connections. I broke the socket, not knowing the trick to unlock'n disconnect, other than that everything went smooth. Thank You.

One of my connectors had a broken tab to begin with. Had to get it apart by jamming an angled pick into it and brute force. Now the tab is gone, but it seats.

Great video very direct and straight forward by doing this yourself you saved yourself about $800 US in labor charges. I have seen several videos there was one that was particularly horrible in that the poster disassembled the front clip, grill then removed headlights, and removed the bumper to give more room to work, however it added an hour or more than an hour of time to the whole repair. At 19:05 you were changing over the original bolt holds from the old radiator to the new radiator. You discovered that the holds would not fit the new radiator frame and decided to use tie-wraps to hold the fan housings in place. A better method woud have been to remove the old radiator frame top from the old radiator then install it on the new radiator then the fan bolt clips would match and everythiing would fit like a factory install.

Excellent, very clear. My new radiator did not need the clips for the fans, screws went right in. However, I could not free the radiator from the condenser without removing the bumper, not being able to see the top clips on my vehicle, which had to be squeezed together to pull it out.

I was Quoted $1895.00 for the Radiator Replacement and some Plastic with painting. Sure the Bumper Cover is about $395.00, but these body shops see someone with the NEED to get their Mini-Van back in operating order and Jack it Up ! I have replaced the Radiator, Top Grill plastic and of course Fluid for $185.00 I still need to replace the Bumper cover for aesthetics, but the cooling system is perfect, fans secure and I am Not in Payment Pain to Billy’s Body Shop. These Vids are more than helpful in getting these things done at home with out making Rookie mistakes that are inevidable.

Thank you for an excellent step-by-step video, and thank you for a great camera operator!!!This was very easy to follow and you explained every step along the way clearly and with excellent video footage. You should be a teacher.I was expecting to see a couple of coolant lines from the transmission and was very surprised I didn't. Is there some other radiator for the tranny coolant? Without seeing them there, I can almost think I can do this without getting down on all fours or crawling around on my back... And I may even enjoy handling the tools again.. so thanks ever so much for an excellent job. I really appreciate the excellence of this production.I've been around cars all my life, and strictly as a hobby on week ends etc., changed just about everything about them over those years. Unfortunately "those years" are catching up with me and my good friend Arthritis lives in my house now. "Arthur", as I prefer to call him, has taken away a lot of my ability to walk and stoop and certainly get down on my hands and knees. Luckily my hands have so far been barely affected.., but feet and legs and back, well they are not too happy. But, with your video I am going to buy a new rad and tackle this myself. And I'll call it my 70th birthday present from you. Many thanks.Eldon Gaw, Ottawa, On. Canada.

Great video although you missed a couple opportunities to speed up the process. Also, I think the radiators come with a bag of hardware to replace spire clips and grommets. I guess it depends on the manufacturer. I'll find out today, replacing my radiator in 33 degree F. weather. Fun!
