I honestly believe that this is the person who is going to achieve Scottish independence. He simply needs to bide his time a little and in about 10 years time, start to consider standing to be the leader of the SNP. Anyone can see that Stephen is very likeable, friendly and articulate and most of the people who interview him genuinely seem to warm to him. In the interim, the SNP also need to sort themselves out and 5 years of Labour with their typical Westminster bias, will see the Scottish return to the SNP, so long as the party has got a grip on itself. When support ebbs and flows, there is often a greater flow following the ebb, so long as the passage is made clear. John Swinney and Stephen Flynn need to concentrate and do their jobs well. Swinney to simply keep the government ticking over normally and without controversy and Flynn to continue campaigning in his soft, non-confrontational way. ....I am not Scottish, but believe the UK needs a really big kick up its backside in letting the past go and head towards the future with a fairer, better and truly reformed constitutional set-up and not in the revolting, shallow way that Farage's mob are intending which is designed to only solidify England's dominance.
