Thank you for this great interview. Prigozhin as well as his friends in the Russian Military have been disillusioned about the pace of the war in Ukraine. They thought it would be a blitzkrieg. Instead, it's a long bloody war. Russian Military blogger and ex FSB officer Igor Girkin is pro war, but has fiercely criticized the Russian military for their incompetence and "insufficiency". 8 days ago Girkin again, gave more scathing criticism of Putin's leadership. "Putin is not going to win this war" he warned.😮 The Kremlin is like a Mafia organization. They sense weakness and the Capo's start vying for a bigger piece of the pie. 🙄

Is it weakness or is it magnanimity? MacArthur defied Truman in Korea. He was relieved, not tried for treason. Why? Magnanimity. Truman could afford to forgive MacArthur because MacArthur was not a real threat to Truman's power. Also, MacArthur, like Prigozhin, was a national hero--he had earned some goodwill.
