THIS is why i can’t be mad when smaller artists or songs blow up on tiktok, because they get to be recognized for their talent! 🙌🏽 It’s amazing what an app can do for people! Yet there’s still miserable ppl who keep the mindset of “ugh I hope this doesn’t end up on tiktok” so what? I was in the car today and flipping around radio stations. I stopped on one which plays current hits and 90s hits mostly from what I can tell... and was so confused.... because they were in the middle of playing a song from the 1950s??? Loved the song. Then it ended all too soon and didn't say what it was! Then lo and behold just a few hours later, a few minutes ago, I'm watching Ginny and Georgia and the beautiful song comes up, and I'm able to find the name of it! So surprised this is a current song! I honestly thought it was from the 50's. Absolutely love it! goes to show that any style can be successful as long as it's done well and has heartfelt emotion behind it. Thank you!
