The people who try to make others happy are usually the loneliest and unhappiest. And it’s always the people you would never expect to be hurting inside to be suicidal. My best friend showed me a video of someone talking about their struggles with mental illness, and how there is always a light at the end of the tunnel; someone out there loves you (love that girl!) the day this happened, because she knows ive dealt with my own trauma and depression for quite some time. More people are taken by suicide than by most physical illnesses. And I wish more people would take mental health seriously. The sad thing is, no one does until something like this happens. Be sure to ask how your loved ones are doing. Even the happy ones who seem fine. Bless his family in their time of grief

Something to look out for when concerned that a person may be suicidal is a change in behavior or the presence of entirely new behaviors. This is of sharpest concern if the new or changed behavior is related to a painful event, loss, or change. Most people who take their lives exhibit one or more warning signs, either through what they say or what they do. Talk: If a person talks about: Killing themselves Feeling hopeless Having no reason to live Being a burden to others Feeling trapped Unbearable pain Behavior: Behaviors that may signal risk, especially if related to a painful event, loss or change: Increased use of alcohol or drugs Looking for a way to end their lives, such as searching online for methods Withdrawing from activities Isolating from family and friends Sleeping too much or too little Visiting or calling people to say goodbye Giving away prized possessions Aggression Fatigue Mood: People who are considering suicide often display one or more of the following moods: Depression Anxiety Loss of interest Irritability Humiliation/Shame Agitation/Anger Relief/Sudden Improvement Help is available Speak with someone today 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline "Somebody Loves You Baby"- And it's meeeeeeee....- Sung by Miss Patti Labelle

@@ImenBen12 her name was Karina, she was 23, she was autistic and she dealt with deep depression for most of her teen/adult life. She had also dealt with bullying and a lack of stability and understanding in her home as she lived with her dad who had taken her and her sister from my auntie when the girls were young, and let’s just say he raised them in all the wrong ways. He also put my auntie through hell right up to the funeral, very selfish man. She isolated herself and only had internet friends. Some of these “friends” were actually guiding her to her death. She was a part of an organisation that also told her how to do it and with what. Which is illegal in our country meaning there’s now an investigation ongoing. She had attempted multiple times before her death and was failed each time by the NHS and mental health team. Who are now also being investigated. She was the kindest soul, loved animals (cats in particular) and always encouraged others to be happy, love themselves and seek help when needed. Sadly she wouldn’t get the help she needed despite my aunt fighting for it. She also frequently donated to Papyrus and Cats Protection. This to me just shows how kind hearted she was, and how much she cared about others. In the end, she felt like this was her only way out. I can only hope that she is at peace and isn’t suffering anymore. It’s the only comfort we can take from her death. There’s much more to the story but this is the shortened version. Thank you for taking the time to comment and ask. I hope you keep well and remember that if you’re ever going through something like this, there is always someone willing to listen and help. I will never forget I told my doctor, “Oh everyone is depressed, not that big of a deal,” this is right after he diagnosed me with depression. He stated, ”No! It is actually an illness, you might feel good one day but it can hit you and can cause death.” I can not frame it the way he did, but it made me really rethink what depression actually means. The thing about depression, at least for me, is I can feel “normal” one day and feel COMPLETELY low the next. I have hit the bottom and faced death a couple of times. When I was talking to my mom about tWitch’s death, I almost broke down crying cause it really made me reevaluate my whole life and depression symptoms. That’s the thing, even diagnosed- I still have no motivation to actually get help that I need. My absolute deepest condolences to his family, people who knew him, and all of his fans. This is so tragic and made me rethink a lot about my life. I truly won’t take this wake up call for granted.

sadly depression is always an unfortunate thing and it's unfortunate that he took his life but whatever the reasons, it was the wrong choice to commit suicide BUT whatever he was feeling would've been perfectly valid. Agreed with the condolences to anyone that knew him whether personally or not. Regardless of whether one wants help or not, sadly the help needs to be something that works for them. It's sad but it's deeply flawed and horribly misguided to assume that help works for everyone. Some people take medication for those feelings but some are immune to it, some try breathing exercises or therapy but sadly those things don't work for everyone. Mental health issues like these sadly carry a great deal of shame, I've struggled with it for years, even triggered me last year when a streamer really damaged me to the point that I seriously was close to hanging myself just to teach the person a lesson that you shouldn't be overly critical towards someone that already felt low, ugly and pathetic. People don't know how someone truly feels in their life unless they truly take the time to know them.

Stephen 'tWitch' Boss had money, a family, a lavish house, was known for something by many (famous), and knew other famous people. These things the world glorifies, thinking: "Oh, if I just had one of those... I'd be good". Yet he had them *ALL* and ended his life. Money doesn't cure your depression, money doesn't make the suicidal thoughts go away. Nothing of this world will make them go away; no family, no spouse, nothing. The peace ye seek is temporary and doesn't cure the issue you had to begin with. Obtaining such things and still struggling with what you did prior. The things of this world are in vain, you carry nothing into the afterlife. Jesus Christ is the propitiation for the whole world's sins. When you trust in God and cast your cares (worries, anxiety, depression, suicidal thoughts) upon him, they will be NO MORE! Know that there is power in the name Jesus Christ! That the Father may be glorified in the Son's name. The world is wicked, evil, and of the devil. I too, was a wicked sinner of the world before I opened my heart to God. I am living proof of God's work and fruitfulness! He is an active God who hears the prayers of his! God's children are set apart (holy) and righteous. The devil is a liar that comes to steal, to kill, and to destroy; that includes your relationship with God. Open your heart to God, repent of your sins (he will forgive you), and let him direct your path. Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands and purify your heart, lest you walk with the devil and follow him to hell. They that believe and are baptized (with the Holy Spirit) shall be saved; but they that believe not shall be damned. Those led by the Holy Spirit do not abide in wickedness. Everything I stated is supported by the word of God. Starting from 'Jesus Christ' to the bottom thereof, I have the verses below in order: 1 John 2:2 KJV 2 And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world. *1 Peter 5:7 KJV* *7 Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.* *John 14:27 KJV* *27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.* John 14:13-14 KJV 13 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it. 1 John 5:19 KJV 19 And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness. Psalm 96:3 KJV 3 Declare his glory among the heathen, his wonders among all people. Psalm 105:1 KJV 1 O give thanks unto the Lord; call upon his name: make known his deeds among the people. 2 Timothy 1:8 KJV 8 Be not thou therefore ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me his prisoner: but be thou partaker of the afflictions of the gospel according to the power of God; Proverbs 15:29 KJV 29 The Lord is far from the wicked: but he heareth the prayer of the righteous. John 15:19 KJV 19 If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you. Revelation 22:11 KJV 11 He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still. John 10:10 KJV 10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. Acts 2:38 KJV 38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. Proverbs 3:5-6 KJV 5 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. 6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. James 4:8 KJV 8 Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded. Jeremiah 29:13 KJV 13 And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart. Mark 16:15-16 KJV 15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. *16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.* Revelations 20:15 KJV 15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. *1 John 1:6-7 KJV* *6 If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:* *7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.* *1 John 5:18 KJV* *18 We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not.*

I think there is a misconception that if you have a lot of support you “should be fine” or “why would you do that”. That’s why they call this stuff ILLNESS. Depression can really take your mind captive regardless of what good things you have going. I just love that although he suffered he dedicated his life to being the best person to everyone around him, living life to its fullest, and spreading hope and love through dance. yup exactly correct at least with most of your points and regardless of whether one has support or not, there's a great deal of shame that can go into feeling like that especially when others hurt you so much that you want to die yourself because you can't handle the pain. Not saying that's what happened to him, that's just what I've been going through for over a year and it's so easy to be abusive or overly critical about us feeling suicidal when we're hurting BUT that's why it's called a mental illness and not everything works for some people. Sadly some people are horribly misguided and deeply flawed in their thoughts that help actually works for everyone in these situations and it quite frankly doesn't

I want to say that, I have struggled with mental health issues since I was a child. I am currently 24. I have a lot of shit ahead of me, and I get scared. The mind tricks you, it can make you feel like no one can help you on this Earth. If you have family members, or friends, that you know love you, talk to them. I promise you, they want to hear it and be there. I have been certain of so many things I have been entirely wrong about. And if you don't know someone personally, there are people out there you can find professionally that are like a soulmate I swear. It took my maybe 5 tries until I found a therapist who really understood my language, my mindset, and made me realize WOAH I'm not crazy. I'm not alone at all. Wait there are so many people out there who know this feeling. And for some reason, that helps a little. Also, trying my best to escape in movies and TV. Idk how healthy that is but it's really helped me when life gets hard. Even if it's just for a few minutes. Sorry that was random. Anyways, sending you love. I pray you only continue to heal, and I know there are so many beautiful things in store for you. There is no way to understand his decision, the timing, the long-term consequences of this inexplicable tragedy. Some day, we may know, and maybe we'll never know what was behind his actions. There are some things we CAN know...that he brought love and light to thousands of people in his lifetime, that by all accounts he loved his family dearly, that something happened in his life that he couldn't bear. As a mental health clinician for almost 40 years, I've heard many such tragic stories, all of them hard to bear. I wish his beautiful spirit a safe journey into the arms of a loving God.

The problem is most people don’t think of long term consequences. Depression is a mental illness and when you are on the deep end of it and in the thick of abject despair - it is a horrible devastating disastrous place to be in. For someone who hasn’t had treatment for it they will often succumb to those initial negative horrible thoughts and thag is a huge tragedy, because often times these episodes will pass if worked on.

@@enuphsayd9746 its incredibly sad and I'm definitely not famous, rich, or have the talent this great man had. I will say about depression and mental illness from myself who attempted suicide that in the mind of someone who is thinking of it, its something that is overwhelming. You believe that you aren't good enough, a failure, the brain lies to you. Depression is very hard to fight sometimes where you just think I can't go on. A dark place surrounds you. It's hard to see that from such a talented, kind, and successful man to do this, but to him like Naomi Judd and yes Robin Williams...the mindset became overwhelming. It hurts so much to see his family and wife and you know he loved them with all his heart. . But, he was suffering and probably didn't say a word to anyone about it. I was lucky to where I survived. If someone has depression, anxiety or any other mental illness. There is no shame regardless of male, female, young, old, race, religion we must talk about what's going on or it will overcome you. It's not a weakness it's an illness just like heart disease, etc. More awareness needs to be put on mental illness and especially suicide because this world is not easy to handle.

For those who don’t understand how someone who looks “so happy with such a beautiful family can do this”, you never know what someone is going through. Having been a suicide survivor, depression plays horrible games in your head, Making you believe you’re the worst POS alive, and that your absence would eventually make everyone happy in the end, that your presence is the very reason they’re unhappy. It is an unbearable spiritual, mental and physical pain, difficult to get over, most of the times. It really makes you feel like you just want to numb yourself forever for your own good and theirs. There is also a huge source of shame, embarrassment that keeps you from disclosing feeling that way for fear of people not believing it or belittling you, or downplay it, and make you feel weak or a “drama queen”. So you suffer on your own to avoid causing others suffering or afraid that they would react in a way that will make your suffering worsen. You feel like you have this constant dark cloud surrounding you, that weighs on you and everyone you come in touch with and it makes you lose all coherence and consideration about the immediate emotional results others will experience by your death and makes you think it will be just momentary and they will move on quickly to be much happier without you. That’s depression, at least the way I experienced it and how many others who went through it have shared with me that they experienced it.

Prayers to the family, but something doesn’t feel right about this. Especially with things he posted the past month and a fews days, before this happened.

Alot of times ppl hide their feelings. What appeared on the outside obviously wasn't how he really felt.

I am an avid mental health awareness advocate and spoken word performer, and though this is tragic, I love this video so much. I travel the country trying to bring that awareness on stages, in classrooms, hospitals, and on my KZitem channel, so I get excited when I see other advocates. 💚❤️

Why did Tyler Perry's comment rub me the wrong way??? This a tribute to Twitch. Not about Tyler's failed attempts before. Very odd and unsettling.

Hard to even imagine twitch owning a gun. He said yes to everyone, gave everyone his time. He looked tired in his last videos. Praying for his family. Hope nobody goes through this. Get help

@@karimanicolette1210 there are people who can help. There is the suicide hotline and emergency room if there’s no family or friends to talk to. But someone will listen.

Don't get me wrong.. but I get so mad at people who just quit and leave their partners to handle life on their own..kids ..debt..grief..everything. Even if you are depressed, think of the people you're leaving behind
