I love the 1980s Tattletales theme!! Sounds vibrant and it got a warm, jazzy feel though it similar to the Looney Tunes opening themes.

This show was on CBS in 1982, at the time. Bert Convy was host, before he went to NBC.

Great theme! I do love these old Goodson-Todman game shows. Match game and Super Password were my favorites, but Tattletales... so good.

I like the two TattleTales version. When I had dreams when I visit New York City on Christmas time when it is cloudy ⛅️ and snowing 🌨 I think about the late Bert Convy meeting in person in my dreams.

I believe this version got used as an opener in the later run of the show where it wasn’t just husband/wife, but it was friends/relatives.

Tattle Tales aired on CBS daytime and began at 10:30 am EST. & 7:30 am pacific time. Premiered Monday January 18th, 1982 and the final episode aired Friday June 1st 1984. Announcer Johnny Olson.

In my area, it aired at 4PM ET. At the 10:30 slot, reruns of Alice aired until September of that year when Child's Play debuted, which lasted one year and was replaced by Press Your Luck.

The Price Is Right should've kept the Tattletales theme from 1982-1984 for the car cue in 1986 to 2007 when Bob Barker hosted the show.

TPIR should have picked this up as a prize/car cue. Their 1983 music cues must have been based off this, some have similar sounds.

Both versions of "Tattletales", stayed with CBS. Bert Convy was hosted, this successful CBS game show.

Would have been perfect timing to use this is a prize cue on TPIR, since a bunch of cues were introduced around the same time (late 1983 in this case though).

This sounds like it would've been part of the 1983 TPIR cue package. Gary Anderson of Score Productions wrote this along with a lot of the '83 Price package.

+Don McCullen I suppose that was in Bert Convy's era. CBS had him, before NBC or ABC. CBS was the only network, who has him, for hosting "Tattletales". Celebrities give money, for their rooting section.

@MegastarLV Yeah, whatever. I've heard it as it was presented on that CD (dernit, what's it called- TV's Greatest Quiz Show/Game Show Themes-???), and what you hear here is what's on it. True, that cut of Hustle The Bank was very subpar, but I'm going on what I've heard.

I always watch Tattletales on Buzzr but I am not sure why they dont bring back the 1980's Version of this show that version wasnt as good as the versions from 1974-1978 but it was okay espically the opening and closing theme songs on the 1980's version were great
