It's refreshing to hear Albini interviewed about subjects other than Nirvana and recording drums.

Steve talking about his friend getting in a fight with a kangaroo is the happiest I’ve ever seen him

Steve is so damn well spoken. Hope you asked him about poker. Or the time he let a bunch of people throw rotten vegetables at him.

I’ve been a fan of Albini since 1987. I know people who know him, and/or worked with and for him. I know he has a bit of a “rep” but he seems like a pretty down to earth guy. Great interview.

For me my outlet is skateboarding with my friends. We take skate trips and its as Steve says a pure form of escape and a creative outlet. Its rare and i think on par with band members.

Shellac are ok but i miss the furiousness of Big Black, that band actually spiritually moved me.
