Got an ad for one of his events. Called him the legendary Steve Earle. How'd that happen? I remember when I started listening to him when he was a young guy like me back then starting out. I was in my mid 20's. 61 now and I still listen to him. Where'd the time go? He's part of the soundtrack of my life. I guess he is a legend.

To see the good Christian folk of the Grand Ole Opry sit still and listen to Steve Earl’s Copperhead Road was something I didn’t expect to be on my bucket list, but damn it is. Next I’d love to see Old Crow Medicine Show do Tell It To Me in the same venue.

Was at that concert myself. Saw him a few years previous to that in Belfast where he had the full band with him, that was some night. Then for the 3rd time saw him in Jackson’s hotel in ballybofey. Walked in by mistake when he was doing a sound check but was invited to stay in. His roadie told me to wish Steve a happy birthday which I did, he gave me a massive hug before signing my concert ticket. He’s some talent.
