Hearing this genious song at first when 6 years old 1970 I think...now I`m 60 soon and have the same feeling to it, I hope I can hear it when I´m 120 maybe... it never looses its drive and fun . Pure, pure Pop- music ! Thank you Steve.

I was about 17yo when this was released and I still remember being absolutely captivated by this song on first listen. It was a pre-punk breath of fresh air in a sea of disco. I still love it to this day.

It's always Barry Wickens, who normally plays violins - he always stands to the right of Steve. He's the guy with the light brown guitar, at the very right of the screen in front of the keyboard - the silver bar you can see in the background, at 6:46.

Now put that silly bloody comment in perspective with everything else that's going on right now, children being wiped out because of their religion, Isis, floods, fires, immense poverty, civil wars, etc., please be more mindful of what's really important in this fucked up world ok.

@@COLEEN322 Wow. What would all of us simple folk do if it wasn't for heavyhanded sanctimonious nerds like yourself to remind us that it's not correct to get away from all the shit you mentioned above and just enjoy a moment, even if it's wondering who the guitar solo was played by. How do you know that the guy who asked about it doesn't do volunteer work for pediatric cancer patients, or save the oceans? All your lecturing doesn't make anything you mentioned one bit better. You think you're the conscience of the world but in reality you're numbingly boring and a buzzkill and no one asked for your "guidance." And there's still alot that's beautiful in this world. So please be mindful of that.
