My comment to this is: It´s such a pitty that so less people (now and before) have not listening and discovered all the fantastic music Steve Howe and Yes have made in around 40 years. / It´s make the life worth living for/ RSA

I believe that at times we don't just listen with our Ears but with our Heart. At these times, sonic perfection becomes irrellivant. It is how the music makes us feel that makes what we hear, "Wonderous"! Would you agree? Yes?

Funny how people think the 5 time Guitar Player BEST Overall Guitarist can be considered underrated! Steve Howe is a legend- Even Segovia preached his talents. I am unaware of any other player who is a versatile as Howe, Perhaps only Steve Hackett. Certainly no one pays as beautiful or as sublime.

Steve is so amazing, and Jon was a perfect foil. Together they brought us into other realms of being. As artists I love them with all my heart. Steve can sing his own song, his pitch is perfect. When I was 18 and studying at the UNIV of TEXAS AUSTIN. My closest circle of best friends would drop Blotter (ie LSD) and pass a bowl of hash and a bowl of opium while listening..... and NO ONE would have dared to interrupt the album with conversation. I graduated Summa cum laude in Astral travel... my BS was in electrical engineering...I could not have understood quarternions w/o Steve, Jon, Chris, Bill, and Rick.

Very grateful to have known their music. His guitar playing is really great, he's voice hmm. I grew up with close to the edge, relayer and going for the one. They have really shapened my taste for music in a wide sense. I thank Steve and yes for that. Really underestimated. What they are playing is almost classical. Real taste for emotion in music. So great.

Steve Howe and the sound that he can acheive with a guitar is unmatched by any, the closest that I have ever heard since is Chris Degarmo from Queensryche. The rich haunting melodies that Steve Howe created are what inspire many others to try and to learn.
