when you watched Largents last season you knew he could have still played 2 or more seasons. He still had it in him but the injuries and the fact that the Hawks were in a massive downward spiral (that continued till 2000) He just didn't have it in him no more. People still couldn't cover him. Everyone likes to look at Jerry Rice well Had Largent Played as long as Rice did i am not sure Jerry ever catches Steve, The GOAT! Remember no one stopped Steve Largents "games with a catch streak" he stopped it himself when he retired.

Largent's last game was Nationally televised. I remember watching this when I was only 8.

In the locker room after the game, Steve Largent gave his game jersey to Pete Gross, Seahawks broadcaster. Pete died of cancer a few years later.

In my opinion Largent was the best nfl wr of all time until Jerry Rice eventually dethroned him. Incredible player

Steve was one of the bright spots on a expansion team and was so till he retired.. He was fun to watch when Seattle had no defense at all… Seattle so long ago..Seattle had the expansion rights to Tony Dorset and traded the #1 pick to Dallas for pile of second string defensive players that we largely rejects.. Seattle could of made a better trade..

@@jamesleyda365 Swap Jerry Rice to the Seahawks in the 80's and 90's. I guarantee he doesn't have the same numbers.

Listen to the crowd cheer that perfect throw by Dave Krieg at 1:04. Secondly, how is Largent a Hall of Famer? That carom on the Hail Mary hit him right in the face and he was afraid of it. Pfff..... Then he sprains his ankle. Please.

He didn't need gloves to catch the ball. Dude was the epitome of how to play the game and how to conduct yourself on and off the field. Even Jerry rice used gloves and he's considered the best ever. All receivers today use gloves. That finger tip catch by Beckham NEVER would've happened if wasn't wearing gloves.

I hope you're just being funny or trying to troll. Because if you don't know why he's in the hall you are ignorant of his career.
