Steve is a rare example of conveying raw emotions through song. I grew up with Journey & Steve Perry's solo stuff. Journey/Steve Perry live is unbelievable. Absolutely loved your reaction.❤

You need Send Her My Love, Separate Ways, Who's Crying Now. I really enjoy the Escape Tour Houston 1981 for live. Steve Perry sounds the same live as in studio, it's absolutely unbelievable...

I just adore that you love Steve Perry as much as all the rest of us do! Thank you for reacting to one of his first solo songs, and a huge hit. One of my favorites! Keep doing you, I really enjoy your channel!❤ Just an added, sidenote… It’s cool that they did this all in one take, no editing. You’ll notice that they start from far away, slowly zoom in, and then fade out again. One take!🤗🎉

You should check out Wheel In The Sky, 1978. When the guitar solo happens, watch Steve and listen. That is him singing. Most people miss that and think it's the guitar.

My favorite singer ever, hands down. I love his solo work. Journey never had a #1 hit. But he did. Hard to believe. Always loved Journey too. The song he had that hit #1 was Oh Sherrie. Plz react to it or Strung out is great too. Great reaction

Hey TB.Doug,do I have a Journey song for you!!! It’s a live performance from 1981. The name of the song is called “Mother, Father”. It’s on the Escape album. I can’t understand how this song wasn’t released as a hit single. A very powerful song. Start out with a slow rhythm and progresses as the goes on and ends very powerfully. Steve Perry’s best vocal in his career. After hearing this song, you won’t have to hear another Journey song.

He does have a great voice too get lost in and go were ever you want and just dissappear in his voice and the music behind him transport yourself anywhere and that's when music is really good when that can happen when you hear a artist and his or her music and that it gives you that feeling 😀😃🙂🙃😊😇😀😃🙂🙃😊😇😀😃🙂🙃 Steve Perry atleast too me will always be the voice Period 😀😃🙂🙃😊😇😀😃🙂🙃😊😇😀😃🙂🙃 But I can't wait for you too get too Whitney Houston which too me is the female version of the voice or is the female representation of the voice her and my favorite female singer ever and there's lots of them but too me it's Sade 😀😃🙂🙃😊😇😀😃🙂🙃 can't wait til you discover and react too them they can take you places with there music and singing as well 😀😃🙂🙃😊😇😀😃🙂🙃😊😇

Written by Steve Perry and Randy Goodrum. True story. Randy Goodrum thought he was going to write with a member of Aerosmith. But the daughter of Randy Goodrum got her poster of Journey and pointed to Steve Perry. L 🤣 L Daddy was not hip! L 🤣 L Randy Goodrum thought Joe Perry of Aerosmith was Steve Perry. L 🤣 L This story is in the YT video of Randy Goodrum singing Foolish Heart. In the same year, Randy Goodrum wrote a song for Debarge. Goodrum wrote a Number 1 song for Anne Murray in 1978. Suggested videos 📹: 1 Anne Murray sings You Needed Me 2 Debarge performs Who's Holding Donna Now. 3 Steve Perry sings I Stand Alone 4 Journey with Steve Perry perform Open Arms.
