Well- as someone who was a Zen monk for almost 10 years, the guy asked and Seagal - to his great credit- showed him directly. In formal Zen training, immediate demonstrations are required, not clever, wordy pablum. He asked for the essence of Zen and he immediately got shown directly exactly what it is. I doubt he has any idea of what happened to him, but I have a deep respect for Steven Seagal’s depth of understanding, as his demonstration was perfect! And he definitely passed that koan!

He was action movie star. And he is. His movies go up to 2018. And also. He is 7 dan in aikido. And people think its fake due yo few viral videos. Seagal is in his 70s and he actually could KO most of idiots.

Steven needs to more of these kinds of “Curb Your Enthusiasm” type vids or episodes. It’s hilarious. And perfect for him and how serious he takes himself.
