Stevie Wonder’s birthday should be a day of international celebration of the beauty he brings to the world through his music.

I think Stevie is a genius. As soon as he sings the first note, you know it's him. Barbra Streisand has stated he is one of her favorite artists and did an excellent cover of this song.

Stevie Wonder is a musical genius. He started with Motown when he was 11 years old. In a great documentary “ Hitsville: The Story of Motown”, they talk about Stevie being like a sponge. He absorbed everything he could from each of the studio musicians, The Funk Brothers, until he mastered almost every instrument himself. He was writing songs at 13. He is not only a fantastic musician, songwriter and vocalist, he is also a civil rights advocate. He is truly a treasure. 👏👏❤️

A most gorgeous ballad that graces what I've always deemed as Stevie Wonder's best album, Innervisions. There's not a wasted second on the entire album - a belief I've held since 1973 or '74. Great reaction.

Stevie stands head-and-shoulders with Lennon and McCartney. Can you imagine a group that had two Stevie Wonders in it? They would have been ranked right up with the Beatles.

One of my favorite Stevie Wonder songs also and if you have never heard it, you have to run to the version that Barbra Streisand did and she did it more than justice. Trust me when I say that Stevie and Billie Joel are my two favorite male singer songwriters ever Barbra and Linda Ronstadt are my two favorite female vocalists ever and I’m very critical and when I tell you, Barbra nailed it she nailed it.

I was lucky enough to meet Stevie while sharing an elevator back in 2010-ish.. he was celebrating a birthday at the hotel I worked at back then. It was Stevie, myself and who I assumed was his assistant. I was starstruck and embarrassingly told him that he's been one of my favorite all around artists since I was like 5... this man is human gold!

This song melts my soul. I have been on it for weeks now. I'm a lover of Stevie Wonder songs, such powerful lyrics, and very meaningful. I've heard a few other renditions of this particular song, and it's a cut when they first open their month (no offense) but the best thing you can do with this one is just enjoy it and soak in every moment ❤ thanks for sharing 😊

From Stevie's 16th album, "Innervisions" this is such a beautiful love ballad. Written about an end of a relationship, with the use of clichés, Stevie's vocals deliver this song so sweetly. The Fender Rhode, drums and great bass line make for a super enjoyable sound. Great reaction Harri. Thanks Harri and friend. 👏👏 Cheers from Canada 🇨🇦

Gorgeous song!! Barbra Streisand does a fabulous cover version on her The Way We Were album. That just happens to be my most favorite of all of Barbra's LPs, & ironically, The Way We Were is my least favorite song on the entire album!!! Do yourself a favor, Harri, & give it a listen. I know you'll love it, too!!!

The saying, All is fair in love (and war), confounds me. Treating people any way or using any strategy in a love relationship is not something I agree with. Love should not be equated with war. So, even though most of the lyrics are beautiful and Stevie is an excellent singer/musician/songwriter, I can't fully accept the message of the song. Stevie is in my top ten of artists but my number one is D'Angelo.

Stevie Wonder is a great songwriter and singer. There are many cover versions of this beautiful song, but Jennifer Rush has made an extremely emotional and touching cover version with her stunning voice that raises Stevie's great song to another level. In my opinion even better than the version by Barbara Streisand.
