I have an incurable chronic pain disease which keeps me in pain pretty much 24/7 and pain meds are no longer available to most people these days. These old classics are my primary source of distraction from the pain. Been listening to them all day & nite. thanx KZitem.

Music was the first "love of my life" and is also a natural feel good healer :-) This helped me, so I hope it can help you as well: www.everydayhealth.com/news/cheap-natural-quick-chronic-pain-remedies/ I also had pain 24/7 and was not even able to sleep at all due to the constant pain. It felt like a living hell. For me it lasted only a few months but those months felt like years. I was almost ready to end my life. So I know how you feel. I wish all the best for you! ♥

It’s insane!! How can one man have so many CLASSIC, good-a** song!??? This is one of my many favorites from this phenomenon called Stevie Wonder. Just the fact that this song was released in 1982, and still sounds fresh and way better than anything on the radio today is a testament to his INSANE talent.

Met friends a block away from my house waited for a few at a friends house. We were going skating Laces Skating rink. We got all together I just had to stop at my house to pick up my skates. My God we walked down my block and there was a block party????? I didn't know? LMAO This was one song among many other great dance songs by the DJ. We dance for an hour then walked to the skating rink. My friends said it was the best Block party they ever went to! Thank You GOD! Funny But TRUE!

This song was kind of the final gasp of 1970s funk and disco, while all the new 1980s acts were slowly and surely creeping in, like Gary Numan, Duran Duran, Culture Club, Wham, Spandua Ballet, And so forth, with Jacko’s Thriller just around the corner.

My mom used to play this song in the car. I'm 13 I'll be 14 very soon and so glad I grew up listening to music like this. Not that 6ix9ine or Cardi music. Not trying to be rude but I am in tune with the early and late music 1900s. A lot of people say I have an old soul, and I find that very special about me.

He may be underrated because most of his classics came in the 70's and is viewed by someone that only knows his hits from the 80's. When you do things like win 3 consecutive album of the year from the Grammys or be the only artist ever to have a song appear on all the major billboard charts.... Those are things that will never be repeated.

To keep their 6 children safe over the Christmas period my parents would have house parties for us to invite all our family and friends! Butcher Road, Sydenham, Durban, South Africa! This song was one of my favourites! When I look at these ancient photos they bring back tearful memories but strangely enough good laughs as well ... my older brothers with their Michael Jackson afros ... 14inch bottom trousers ... London Fog jackets ... Florsheim shoes ... Jack Purcell takkies ... fashion icons of biblical proportions! Thank you Ma Jannie and Papa Piet! R.I.P. Strangz, Lips and Hearty!
