that opening riff, had me in tears. all i remember was road tripping in 77' with my parents from Va to Fla. Stevie Wonder DOMINATED every radio station we tuned into, state to state. great times, damn good times.

This man is an amazing musician and has a million times more talent in his little finger than all of us can ever have in our entire bodies. The day it reached #1 on the R&B chart it had already been #1 on Billboard's Hot Top 100 for a week, it hit #1 on May 21st and stayed there for 3 weeks... It just missed the 'triple crown'; for it peaked at #2 on the United Kingdom's Singles chart... It was Mr. Wonder's thirteenth #1 record on the R&B chart and his sixth #1 on the Hot Top 100 chart...

One of music's best performers! Stevie Wonder is such an essential member to the world of music, and who's music will always live on. I still infatuated with Part-Time Lover as one of my fav's! lol can't help it I was a kid growing up in the early 80's listening to new wave and everything else.
