PERIOD all three of them did not really keep the time or the Rhythm if you listen to them they had their own songs that they had specifically wrote underneath and around the rhythm and bass guitars melodies With Stewart he mainly kept the time and the rhythm but he did not have any type of Melody that he would do with the drums He would have some kicks or some some drum fills but mainly he would mainly uphold the time and rhythm BUT he was on FIRE with it ALSO another drummer who is really good but who is quite overlooked as well and that is Phil Collins

Nice. My son (10) just got into classic rock, grunge & metal because of me. He just started playing drums a couple of months ago and we got him a nice drum set. I’m learning bass so we can hang together and also to keep him motivated. We recently finished our basement too, and built a jam room with LED lights that can be set to go with the music if we want. It makes my eyes crazy but it makes him feel like a rockstar. We’re having such a blast!!! I hope you’re having a good time too. Keep at it. You’ll be amazed at how quickly you improve. Have fun!!!!

Stewart Copeland’s the best drummer, ever.. I saw them in ‘83 on the Ghost in the Machine Tour and in ‘84 on the Synchronicity Tour… they were in their mid-30’s and were at the end of a years-long stint of having been professional small jazz club musicians, then small punk-rock bar musicians, then super-high energy alternative rock/reggae/pop musicians… they were SO GOOD LIVE it was SHOCKING… ESPECIALLY, Stewart Copeland… Stewart Copeland LIVE, was SO GOOD on drums that the whole experience had a SUPER-EXOTIC, OTHER-WORLDLY feel to it… you left feeling completely, mesmerized… you woke up the next day, still riding a natural-high that lasted the whole day and into the night… I’m not exaggerating… Stewart Copeland was THAT GOOD. I remember clearly.. the Mid-South Coliseum in Memphis, Tennessee held 10,000 people… toward the end of the Police Concert, all 10,000 fans were CHANTING LOUDLY AND IN UNISON for the American guy, “STEWART, STEWART, STEWART, STEWART, STEWART, STEWART, STEWART”… Sting finally relented to the chants… and turned around, to look at Stewart… Sting DIDN’T HIDE IT… Sting WAS SOOO PISSED OFF !!!! … never doubt it: Sting is an EGOMANIAC… he is now, AND HE WAS THEN… STING WAS SOOO MAD !!!!!!! I really do believe, Stewart Copeland’s fast-rising popularity… and OUTSHINING, of “Sting” in The Polices’ LIVE Concerts was A MAJOR REASON, The Police broke up right after the Synchronicity Tour… AND, STING WENT… SOLO.
