I owned a KTR for bit and have played a friend's original KLON a few times sitting in with my old band. Here's what I'm hearing...I don't hear as much or any underlying clean signal with the gain up. Also, I'm hearing less mids and more overall gain. I personally prefer this to the original but I know others will prefer a real Klon. Great playing John!

Really John, you need to put up some vids of you playing. That was some tasty stuff and I thank you for the smile you left me with!

Spooky tone, hauntingly familiar. Would be great fun to hang with John....this will have to do. I don't miss a one of his demo's.

Impressive all around, even the price is decent; If Stew Mac could sell these through a cost-friendly manner (to Canada) then I would buy it.

Now do a comparison between the StewMac Ghost drive vs the JHS Notaclon... I'm more than happy with the latter.

Built one about a year ago. One of the first such projects I attempted. Damn thing worked! However putting the output past 10 o'clock seems to rattle my tooth fillings.

Mine the output is barely audible unless output is on full. Obviously I F'ed something up.

I saw a Stewmac video on it and my impression was that they removed the epoxy or whatever that concealed the circuitry and more or less copied it.

Can’t go wrong with a Klon clone, Vox on steroids amp & JB driving it with cherry picked guitars. He works hard for his little girl.

Check in with the StewMac support team. We built their Ghost Delay and ran into issues on the circuit and they helped us out! And don’t forget to check out our build/demo video

I am not at all surprised that StewMac got into the pedal end. He/it (the company) has always been about selling items with MMMMASSSIVE profit margins, carefully marketed as specialty pieces for guitar. Screws, bolts, washers, switches, finishes & paints, dowels, and tons of other Home Depot or Hobby Lobby stuff that could be bought for a tenth of Stew's price (or less). The guitar world has conditioned itself with a catchy nickname as the go-to answer for any guitar part. It's knee-jerk for guitarists to say "STEWMAC" because is so hip & kewl to reference Stewart McDonald that way. Dude laughs all the way to the bank & back every day.
