Thank you for posting this... I always enjoy a new take on these unique firearms... By far my favorite yesteryear firearms... I have more then a few examples and constantly learn new stuff about them as the years go by. One firearm that actually takes a clip lol

One of the few pistols in which “clip” is actually the correct term lol, thanks for watching!

Man they are awesome! Ammo is a bear to get ahold of but in my humble opinion this is the coolest pistol I own (at least tied with the Luger)

An interesting feature is that when the hammer is lowered and the safety is on, the safety will automatically disangage during cocking the hammer. If I'm not mistaken, this feature is not available on commercial variants.

Definitely on my list of dream guns! My M95 and Rast & Gasser need some company in the collection. Great review as usual.

One of my favorite guns. The story goes, that the KuK Army feared, that the pistol was useless, if the soldier lost his magazine. Esp. on horseback. Cavallery was still usual, and popular in the upperclass. And up to WW1 most officers had horses in the KuK Army. Greetings from Austria 🇦🇹

So I have a question not a lot of people talk about these, but I wonder what came first, the steyr1911 or the colt 1911 I had a 1916 Bavarian but I traded for a 1916 08 german 3 digit serial number in like brand new condition I got it from a big collector here in Arizona

You basically don’t, I’ve only ever found one box for it. Been trying to find another for the last year and a half at least
