This is my second year with my trimmer and it shares an AP180 battery and charger with an MSA 160C cordless chainsaw that I have had since 2013. We have many months of winter in the Yukon but I work my units regularly during our summer months and I would certainly reinvest in either one should anything untoward happen to it. The best battery technology that I have come across to date.

have you had any issue with this cutting damp grass?

I cut wet grass all the time, and while it can get caught up inside the guard, it doesn't seem to have any negative effects. Just be sure to give it a good clean inside the guard, ready for the next use.

@@AustralianPaddock alright thank you. yeah, i was hearing some bad reviews about wet grass causing the motor to fail somehow, but sounds like you haven't had any trouble.

@@inspectorjavert5563 Nope. Zero issues regardless of job. Maybe it depends on how you abuse your machine.

Curious why you went with 85 over the 90

The 90 is a brush cutter which is overkill for my needs. For everyday trimming the 85 is ideal.
