So Here we have the final runs with the Psy-Ko-ized Stihl ms200T before it heads out to it's new owner. Surprisingly and definitely the little saw that could. I was skeptical at first when mounting this 25" (84 drivers 3/8s) bar, thinking the stock, rear handle was in way over it's head (turns out to be true) and the T version would be struggling a wee bit. As we can see the 200T was not struggling with this much bar.
In the first session there were a few slices of the smaller log left to use. Had to move over to this bigger log, which allows for the bar to be completely buried for the T runs just to see how it does.
As mentioned, I took another "wack" off the stops with the file. My first attempt with the picco super chain, I was cautiously adjusting the depth of the rakers. Conclusion - there is still some room for adjustment with the 200T but the standard version ms200 is seen shuttering in the cut. This is because it lacks the power to really pull the chain as it is set up well.
Corrections, @ 2:35 I said 3100 but the tach showed 3010 - got it right later... And, it's was the smallest "pro" production saw. Obviously it is not the smallest production saw they made.
I am currently available for custom saw modifications. If you are interested, please shoot me an email.
