I'm a new 201TC owner and the saw was purchased by myself as a not going repair job. Your videos are extremely helpful.

Man I got to say that you kept mentioning that we were hardcore watching this. I would love if I could get my hands on more videos that taught me how to tear down and rebuild some stuff. I'm sitting on a 201T that I want to completely disassemble, clean, re-lube however which way I need to after cleaning with probably gasoline?, and then put it back together. This is one video in that step. I wish more people didn't skip what they thought was easy in their videos. I can build a computer and I can do a lot of other things but I don't have any small engine knowledge because I've never done it. So as someone that's trying to learn I wholeheartedly say thank you. I enjoy the detailed explanation and showing of what's necessary. Thanks dude.

I keep things a long time, like cars, tools. Your videos have become my reference library for Stihl work. They're the real deal, not just how to change a filter.

You video was so educational. I use to do some small work on these back when I was firefighting. But lost most of the tear down. With you making small mistakes and mentioning what could go wrong and how to correct it, really was good information. And yes, I did stay till the end. What good is it to try and learn from an expert, if you don't listen and watch everything you need to know. That's like reading a book and stopping mid way, then trying to tell the story as if you read the whole book. Thank you for this and I will definitely keep you in mind and continue referencing back to get more training. 👍

Made it all the way to the end, this was awesome. I got a free 201 blown up torn apart. Finish doing some porting on the cylinder, now gotta put the handle and carb back on but never did it before, I’ll be watching the video again and following you in real time lol

Made it to the end, tech at an echo dealer here. The dealership doesnt take on Stihl to work and as long as it doesnt compete with the dealership I can do all the side work i want. Your videos have been highly informative and already helped me pay for groceries a time or two.

Richard, Made it to the end. I just did this job last Friday on one that got dropped duh. Sad part was I did same job on same saw last Oct. gravity won again. And I still had some pics on my phone to guide a bit. I did the clockwork and harness in the handle after primary mounting of the handle to the power head. Your way added gravity to help hold things in place, I'll try your way next time. Thanks from Darlington SC, Gary

Rich, this video was EXCELLENT!! I got handed one of these saws as a box of parts, and zero experience wrenching on top handles. It sat for several frustrating months until I stumbled across your video. Man,I had her back together in a couple hours. Thank you so much for the detailed instruction and calm delivery.....huge help, brother. Be well!

I like the way that you stress to not tighten down screws into the plastic too hard. I had to learn that the hard way. If you have a nothing for fixing stripped out plastic threads, that would make a real good video? Somebody has to have a better solution to stripped out threads and plastic them to use a couple of pieces of zip-tie. I have been really enjoying your videos, keep up the good work.

They can't take a hit like the 200's. I've probably done 50 in the last two years. I've replaced one or two for just being pinched and yanking on them.

Great video! Richard I just tore down an MS200T to the short block and found bad fuel lines and shut off wire grounding out by the flywheel. I also found some minor scoring of the piston and cylinder and I don't know if I should keep going on this saw or cut my losses at this point....what do you think?

Also made too end. The more l saw of that saw the less l want one. I prefer a saw that doesnt need electronics for the fuel, or a port to plug into a computer.
