Hey Dad! Yeah sorry, I think it’s actually all the cicadas in the background blocking the sound a bit! Can you still here Frank roar though? Thanks for watching, Stihl for life 👍😎✌️

13.5k is a bit high. should be more like 12.5k so frank doesn't torch himself. but all in all, loved the build, good video series, lookin forward to more. im gonna start on your backlog. any chance you remember where you got that tach? i got one of the orange and black square ones from stihl, and the thing is a pain to use. reads way too inconsistent on the numbers, even when you get it positioned perfectly. i can tune by ear, but i like having working ears, so id rather not do that forever.

Hi Richard, mate thanks for that and yes I agree, I wasn’t paying as much attention as I should because of excitement and filming, so though I had it close enough but when watching the play back I got a bit of a shock lol so yes will readjust Frank down to a level that will be better to run him in on which will be around the 12.5k your talking about. I cannot for the life of me remember where I got that tach, but I’ll have a hunt around and see if I can post a link here, I actually want to get another one as a back up so need to find it anyhow. Thanks so much for your comment here, I really value the feedback as it helps me grow and learn. Thanks again for watching! Stihl for life! 👍😎✌️

Hey man, another great couple videos! I'm waiting on the stihl flywheel puller, you showed on one of your videos, then I'm going to start on my 460 project, I'm going to call it the "troll" because it spent 4 years in the woods! I'm thinking to use the Cross 54mm big bore kit, do you have any opinions on that? I'm going to do quick videos on the project as I go, can I drop your name when explaining how I'm going about it? I plan on using your frank build 1-7 videos. Any other after market parts you might use?

Hey dude, great tools those pullers! Love Troll as a name for your saw, especially with his forest background! I have never seen or used the Cross brand of aftermarket gear, so opinion on them. Meteor are good! Feel free to name drop mate, I have no issues with that, I’m always referencing other KZitem saw builders, especially when it’s their idea or technique that I’m using. Thanks for watching! Stihl for life 👍😎✌️

I'm a Husqvarna guy new to building saws I've built two jonsered 625s a Husqvarna 61 a Husqvarna 51 and a Husqvarna 281 got them all running great but I just came across two 460's that I'm gonna tear down and make one good one it shouldn't be any issue after watching this series. You don't gotta hate on Husqvarna so hard the old ones are good quality saws if you take care of them we're people too somebody might take offense to all that cursing Husqvarna.. lol jk. Thanks for the knowledge on Stihl

Lol 😂 you crack me up mate, Thanks for watching I’m glad I could help you out with a build, let me know what you think on which saws are more straight forward to build out of Stihl or husky, I’d be keen to hear your opinion. Thanks for watching! Stihl for life!! 👍😎✌️

@@stephendeacon4039 not a Chinese one I’ve build 3 toppy’s on my channel and they have all been Stihl from memory, I have built an 070 and a 440, they are ok but the AV mounts are shit, I would recommend changing those to OEM parts.

@@kiwilad4216 oh right on I thought I seen an ozito in one of those videos. They are worth the 100 dollars or so to pay for them especially for a weekend warrior learning to climb
