Salut Olivier.

Excellent flying. Looks like you have more a tail-man, then a wing-man. Always stuck on your tail! Agree 100% (5:00) with needing to have a dual-HD video switcher. Am surprised such does not exist, even as an inline device between camera's and the VTx. Am guessing the different colours have slightly different properties that effect amount of foaming at a given temperature. (11:45) Printing a temperature tower at constant flow rate would allow to calibrate a temperature offset (between colours) to get same wall thickness. The result of applying the lacquer appears to give great surface finish. (26:45). Wondering how much weight is added by this process? If just a few grams, definitely worth the extra finishing effort. Thanks for sharing. So much great content in just this one video!

Salut Très beau travail. J'aime bien ta démarche d'optimisation progressive.

One day I have to try out how lightweight *and* strong wing parts printed in resin can be. Much less restriction in geometry and super smooth surfaces right out the printer could make a difference.

Do you think that, for your designs, the foaming LW-PLA is worth the extra effort (e.g. varnish, cleaning holes, cleaning stringing, extrusion issues on parts, two walls on certain parts, etc.) to save the 30% weight?
@Olivier-C
Wells it depends, on some parts the ain can almost be 50%, and some are less "dirty" than others, as sample the LW works really great for wings tips, main wing panels, so I'd say the best way is to mix different kind of plastics on a plane, to optimize weights and structural strength etc

Have you ever considered 3D printing a mould and then filling it with expanding foam??...So you get a traditional foam plane...?...🤔😳😏🇬🇧
