Are you aware of the detent screw in the middle of the handle? One of the advantages of the flipper with DeadBolt lock is that there is a dedicated screw for adjusting the detent. It's not the torx in the lock. It's positioned almost half way to the handle on the show side. A number 6 torx if I am not mistaken.

Yes. I have been playing with mine since I received it. I love it. I love the Flipper. And, how heavy-duty and stout these are. But, it's not the most comfortable in hand,when compared to my CS Talwar. The Talwar is much more comfortable than the Clever Girl, in a bare hand. And, lighter, too. Also, mine has developed a slight up and down tick; the blade must not self adjust to wear, like the Andrew Demko Tri-Ad. I took it apart to see if I could find the cause of the tick and noticed the the deadbolt had some wear on it. Most likely due to my constant fidgeting and playing with it. But, that was the only part that was showing any wear on it. And, it looks like an super easy replacement, if needed. I also like how easy these are to maintain and break down. I bought another Clever Girl and the Satin, Seismic and the PVD, Seismic, too; because, l like these so much. Now, I have four of them. :-) But, I still love my CS favorites, the Talwar, Recon 1, Hold Out, Tanto Voyager, and American Lawman for my SDUEDC. I, still, recommend those the most for those that want a folder you can depend on in an emergency, that you need to depend on with your life. Or, if you want a folder that will never let you down and won't wear out easily. But, it is fun trying new blades from other Manufacturers. Thank you for introducing these to me... Peace, Stiletto :-)

Hey Stiletto Wild Bill here from the Show Me State! I just received my SRM 9211 folder and it's awesome! Super high quality for a $20.00 knife you got to try this out. We both have knives that cost 5 times more money and they're not as good. Get yourself one you won't regret it. (PEACE) WILD BILL

So with the screws not being flush, does deploying the clever girl shred the pockets or is it pocket/snag friendly?
@Kris_Stiletto
4 жыл бұрын
Well, it is what I would call a pocket shredder. Because, the of the grippy G-10 and the super tight pocket clip, that keeps the Clever Girl in your pocket and doesn't allow it to slip out or fall out. Which, I think is a good thing for this type of folder; it keeps you from loosing your folder in stressful and difficult situations. It's tight like a Cold Steel Pocket Clip... To me, it's a plus. I like strong pocket clips. Especially, on folders that I will carry while riding my motorcycle; I know I won't loose my folder and it will be there when I need it. I hope that helps... Peace, Stiletto :-)

This is a Combat Fighting Folder, designed by War Veteran. It's a pocket shredder. It's most likely meant to be heavily used with gloves. Or, tough hands... :-) But, I must say, the Talwar, still is the most comfortable folding fighter in hand, with a Persian Style Blade, in my opinion. Though, this one feels much more heavy-duty and is thicker all the way to the tip than the Talwar. Even though it's a 3.8mm blade as opposed to the Talwar's 4mm blade stock. I want to see a showdown. Andrew Demko needs to do a CS Test between this new Deadbolt and the Tri-Ad; that would be something to see. This one locks up like a Bank Vault! Flavio Ikoma knew what he was doing when he designed this one. Check him out; he "ROCKS!" Peace, Stiletto :-) kzitem.info/news/bejne/zqerp5uEpZd1o5g

How you doing Last Ranger? Yep, this one is the real deal! It's the first one that I have seen that can really take on the infamous Tri-Ad! It's one that all of us Knife Junkies should have. I got the Seismic, too. I need to do a video on that one, too. Out of the two, this is the one for me. Though, the Blacked Out Seismic with the serrations looks pretty nice, too... The Seismic, I would say has the tougher and more durable blade; it's Saber Ground instead of Hollow Ground and thick all the way to the tip, like a Tanto Blade. But, I love the Persian Style Blade on the Clever Girl; she's more "SEXY!" LOL :-) Peace, Stiletto :-)

Hey Stiletto Wild Bill here from the Show Me State! I'm glad that you're liking other styles of knives you keep this up and you will soon catch up with me. (LOL) Go ahead and put some oil on the pivot. To answer your question about inch pounds divide 3000 by 12 and that will give you the foot pounds total. Be careful when you open the Gerber Sumo it's zip tied in the box, so have some finger nail clippers to make it easy. Give the cat a big hug for Wild Bill!!! (PEACE)

Yes, the Sumo was a bear to get out of the box without destroying the box. My Buck 110 did the honors. This one, my new Clever Girl (I love that name), is bound to be my new favorite Motorcycle Carry Folder; I love it! It would be interesting to see this one or the Seismic go up against one of the CS Folders around the same weight... And, Juno, my Cat, is a spoiled Lady; I call her Queen J. Peace, Stiletto :-)

Do you know how I know this lock is as strong as the Tri-Ad? Simple. There is no video on Cold Steel channel about it so far. I love cats too.

Hi PowerMadHeadBanger! Did you tell me about these? I couldn't remember who turned me on to these... If so, I am so sorry I forgot who turned me onto these. I'll have to mention you in my next follow up video on my Clever Girl. These are some seriously bad ass blades. I carried mine to work, today; it hides away super nicely with black jeans. And, it didn't feel like a heavy blade, either. This is probably the best alternative to a Tri-Ad, in my opinion. It definitely inspires confidence; it feels like a fixed blade when open. You know, the same feeling you get from a Tri-Ad; it feels like the type of folder you want on you if your life depends on it. And, yes, I think you have something there, about CS... On Jimislash's video of it, CS stated they tested it, in the comments... That was a year ago. And, there isn't any video I know of posted on it... Hmmm??? LOL :-) After owning one, I can see why. I love it! Peace, Stiletto :-)

@@PowerMadHeadBanger Right on, Bro! I tend to like the "Fighters." One's that could be great for Combat, too. And, they must have strong locks to make it into my EDC Drawer. And, it's always nice if they are "Sexy," too... :-) Right on, Bro! Peace, Stiletto :-)
