Song is called, "That's What Love Will Make You Do." I believe it was written by the legendary harpist Little Milton and first recorded in 1971. Jerry Garcia performed it countless times and in any live version you land on you will find unmatched skill and feeling and tone, and soulful treatment of the material. He basically used one guitar and one amp his whole career. His right hand and transcendent musicality blows away in one song what artists merely approach in their lifetime. Melody, rhythm, taste, feeling and funk over and over lick after lick. And he sings in between licks. Check it out.

By coincidence, this video came up straight after I’d watched John Farnham’s version of it with his fantastic band in 2000. Tommy Emmanuel was a respected member of John’s band even earlier when he was a young adult. As usual, he’s playing with his heart and soul! Kudos to everyone here. They’re all so good! PS If anyone would like to watch the earlier Farnham version, search for his name plus “That’s What Love Will Make You Do”.

It would have been nice to hear the Bass and the drums as solos too
