Very Facinating to watch you work through the creative process, from drawing to color selection, how you tackled problems and solved each one. I learned alot from this video. Thanks so much for sharing with us.

You've come a long way, young sir, since I first started watching your demos - and I see you've moved on to a different brand of oil paint, which is a lot slicker than the one you used to paint with: I think you've benefited from it, too. Well done!

Hey, Jason..!!! I need to show you a SKY technique that I've learned from you but with different Blue...you'll get the highlights on the clouds almost Naturally....Try the same Red Crimson for the middle and "Ultramarine" around the edge......mix gently the two colors where they meet (sun ray area ).....always with "Smiley Face MOTIONS)....And after when using the White + the 1 inch brush, the area where the 2 colors meet will be LIGHTER. than the Red Crimson.. (A very very light purple ) which became the Highlight without doing anything special.....look an example on my only video...the colored one with the Missing Rock,,is the One....look a the sky, try it ,please let me know.....Thanks for Showing me this,...

that looks great, if you spent more time on it I'm sure it would look identical, although what's the point of painting something exactly how it is on paper, your eyes drawn to the blue and the roughness and visible strokes make it something only man can create, I need to get back to painting still life, it's more relaxing to me and sort of a way to recalibrate

This shouldn't be called "still life". Aren't Still Life's created from observing -real- objects?
