I could go on a lot, because he has a master technique but he is also super super melodic, no one has his unique vibrato or his bending style. He is The Maestro. "Never Die" doesn't have a very melodic solo I know, but there are a lot songs of him that are so melodic. Do you wanna know what "NON music" is: Grunge. Thomas a great teacher. So using eBay's philosophy of using the ear improvising, putting it on to the fretboard, hearing it and then placing the fingers coordinating the 2 hands and then Tom's teaching of the specific techniques. I'm really trying to work on this thing. It's kind of a passion and a hobby of mine. And I still say I see that you're a shredder yourself very, very good.

I’m not a snob and I don’t listen to jazz. And I grew up listening to Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Van Halen, etc. And I have nothing against shredding. But it’s just a fact that what great jazz players do is so much more difficult and more advanced musically than this it’s not even close. I mean in comparison this is sort of mindlessly blazing through the same scale for a while, and then a sequence of arpeggios etc. Meanwhile in jazz chords are just flying by and jazz players who are good improvisors are consciously playing something relevant to each chord as it passes by, landing their licks on certain chord tones on the downbeats, etc, and after decades develop an amazing ear from what they do. Again not being a snob, but no honest rock player, including myself who almost has Yngwie chops, would ever claim they come close to jazz improvisation.

Its not the notes you play, its the notes you don't play. This guy might consider that addage. I think BB King might have said that. This stuff gives me a headache.

Although there are and have been many great Rock and metal guitarists, I think the three most influencial guitarists are.... 1. Jimi Hendrix 2. EVH 3. Yngwie Malmsteen These three have blown the lid off the box as to what can be done on the instrument and influenced many in their respective genres.

I had a friend, that respected Yngwie, but was more of a Zach Wild guy, because he liked more of the pentatonic and "Southern Fried" sound than he did the Neo-Classical sound that I'm so on about. LOL So I get it.

I just love to read the comments section of any Yngwie video. All the bedroom guitarists saying how much he sucks and can’t do anything but play fast. Lol. I mean, I get that some people may not like his music, but anyone who says he sucks or is not a good guitarist or has no feel and emotion because he plays fast just has no clue how hard it is to do what he does and make it look so easy. I love Yngwie and even I get bored of his music after a while, but I have nothing but respect for his abilities. Same goes for any of the “technical” players. Tim Henson is a prime example. I can’t listen to his music for more than 5 minutes without losing interest. But I totally get how good he is. His music just doesn’t resonate with me, and that’s ok. Can’t make everyone happy.

I just read some moronic comments saying it doesn't take much ability to Shred. These idiots have clearly never learned to shred. It takes hours and hours and hours and hours of practise, I should know after 35 years.

As Beethoven once said, "To play a wrong note is insignificant. To play without passion is inexcusable. " Yngwie is the textbook definition of all technical skill, ZERO passion. One of the most boring guitar players ever.

@Joe-g3b2z By the way Yngwie Himself mentioned not to worry too much about wrong No it's that something good often comes out of mistakes that's pretty solid philosophy bro
