20:45 - Did they really have to make the helicopter a ladder? Of all the contrived nonsense! 🤣 Pretty lucky the heli just happened to land like that!!!

25:47 - It's always the most comforting experience in horror games to see a bunch of places to hide and items to use.

22:15 - Oh, damn, nevermind. I'm not sure why they made the geometry in such a scuffed way, but at least you didn't softlock.

28:32 - I will give the game this, with it having bog-standard realism-focused graphics, it does make those more out-there elements stand out more, like the vivid coloration on those blobs: makes them feel alien.

5:45 - The way these monsters talk intrigues me. It makes me wonder, are they a mix of human and eldritch thoughts fighting or is it the eldritch horror just using the host's voice and memories to lure people? And if it's the latter, does the eldritch being even know it's doing that or does it work like how you don't have to control the beats of your heart, it just does?
@HavenTiefling

Yea I'm not too sure. Seems almost like memories / eldritch thoughts

12:36 - I knew they were gonna die somehow, but that's not exactly what I expected. Would've preferred if they had actually gotten away. It's not necessarily great storytelling to always give bad guys their comeuppance. But it's not always great to choose subversion either. So, I think I would've let them get away if I wrote this, but maybe this will pay off in some way beyond Rennick getting his "just desserts."

2:10 - Very exciting news!!! I will always love the pngs, though. In the future you'll have to do a nostalgia throwback video where you play something and go through all your models... You see this shit I'm doing right now. This is why nostalgia was considered a mental disorder. I can't even be nostalgic yet, but I'm planning to be. Pathetic. 😅

If you're on something that's crumbling beneath you, pushing against it to jump will more than likely just cause it to crash faster with you gaining to height. It's hard for me to tell, since he didn't go too far... But I'm just nitpicking.

23:00 - You know, this phone call makes me think how interesting it would be to make this game somewhat non-linear. Now, I'm usually a linearity stan, but imagine if you will having the choice to actually go out of your way to save these people. If you did, maybe in the final segment of the game there would be less abominations because of the amount of people you saved, saving yourself trouble later on for some trouble early on. Could've been cool. Hell, that would still be a nice, linear experience, but just with some optional side-objectives with a potentially brilliant reward!

20:51 - Just a thought that occurred to me now, but I always find it weird in these games how often you'll close off valves and stuff. I always feel like it's just a disaster waiting to happen. Fortunately for this game, this place is already all fucked up, so I don't think that matters.
