Hi Dr. Tobias. The picture where you show a brazilian producers is Pereira Jr. He is pos-graduate in apiculture and melinoponiculture. In South America the singless bees are knowledge a long time ago and unfortunatly we have these barriers regards over the specification of the honey. We suggest that you looking for Dra. Generosa and other seachers from EMPRABA to discuss about the legislation and actions that we need to do.

Hello folks. I guess the stingless bee honey that I have in Cameroon Africa is more than any around the world. Anyone can come over to Cameroon to research or analyze. It’s the most potent in the world Bc of its source

Hi Guys, do you have contact information as I believe I have discovered a new species of stingless bee here in Chinchilla QLD. The bee is half the size of our Tetragonola Carbonaria bees. Flys very erratically and is much thinner in the body similar to an ant. I have a heap of them today collecting pollen off a lavender bush just behind our bee hive.

Very good information in this video! I'm German (here there are no Meliponini bees) and I bumped into stingless bees in Brazil. Now, together with my Brazilian wife we have three hives of two bee species in Brazil. At the moment we taking an universitarian stingless bee keeping course and are hoping to expand our stingless beekeeping activities. As I have friends in other parts of the tropical world I'm interested to see what species exist in the other parts of the world and how beekeeping is done there. Love to see it's gaining popularity all around the world!
