Here is a video of part of my bus ride on the STL Laval bus route 151 Sainte-Rose direction north.
The bus number (registration) was 2109 meaning it's from the year 2021.
The STL stands for the Société de transport de Laval and is responsible for operating buses in the territory of Laval.
Laval is the municipality just north of the Island of Montreal.
It is also serviced by three metro stations on the Orange Line in Laval 🟠: Cartier, Concorde and Montmorency Metro Stations.
The 151 Sainte-Rose route starts at Côte-Vertu Metro Station and crosses into Laval over the Lachapelle Bridge which connects the Cartierville part of Montreal to the Chomedey district of Laval. The river which the bridge passes over is the Rivieres-des-Prairies or Prairies River in English.
In this video, you can see a few interesting landmarks including the Bombardier aeronautic plant in Saint Laurent and the new Vertu Garage that was recently inaugurated to service metros on the Orange Line.
I stopped filming on Levesque Boulevard just as I got into Laval so I could save some battery.
This was all thanks to the new fare, an All Modes Zone A, B and C weekend pass for only $14.50! I was able to fit in this weekend: A train ride to the South Shore, riding some RTL buses in the South Shore plus travelling to Laval in STL territory.
A special shout out to @GeorgeAdams-GA1953 at 6:05 for sharing some of his knowledge about the Saint Laurent area.
