Nice video. What about filling top and bottom layer with GND as well? Can't you look at gerbers in KiCad? I always do check them in Altium. JLCPCB has online gerber viewer as well and recently I noticed there is even DFM check. I checked it out yesterday and it was decent. When it comes to USB protection I took out USBLC6-2SC6 part and used ECMF02-4CMX8. The reason why USBLC6-2SC6 sucks is it's VBUS connection. There is a connection between VBUS and D+/D- lines. If you disconnect your USB so VBUS should drop to 0, but your D+ or D- is pulled to high then your VBUS will be like at 2.5V. I also noticed recent ST schematics using USBLC6-2SC6 with external additional TVS diode so they won't connect VBUS connection and use another standalone TVS there. I personally don't like USBLC6-2SC6 for this reason. If I use it I will not connect VBUS and do the same - use another TVS on VBUS.

Thanks for the feedback, I normally check my pcbs with a different gerber viewer. I'll will check out the part you suggested. Thanks for watching

@@TheEngineeringExperienceYT ECMF02-4CMX8 package is quite small so it sucks for hand soldering. You can use USBLC6-2SC6 and external TVS on VBUS. Or find some other USB protection. Just pointed out thing that's not good with USBLC6-2SC6.
