I love the crv 1st and 2nd Gen. I am a diehard fan. Yours is very nice! That said, the roads you took would not have challenged my mother's pink 98 Ford Taurus.

Awesome video! Any recommendations for a ski/snowboard rack? Also, could you please share some info on that amazing barbequer, thank you!

Hi Dolf, I dont SKI or Snowboard myself, but I know Thule, Sports Rack and others make some high quality rack mounts for snowboard and ski's. In terms of the BBQ its just a singe Butune burner with a cast iron on top.

I'm wanting to go up to Kenyon Lake with my stock CRV... You think I'd be able to make it? Thank you
@WeekendSoftRoading
Жыл бұрын
Last I heard you will need a proper 4x4 vehicle with low gear. Our CRVs will not be able to handle this road. You can search for videos of this Lake as it is run by the FOUR WHEEL DRIVE ASSOCIATION OF BRITISH COLUMBIA.

Nice CRV, I'm interested how you attached the Jerry can behind the wheel cover. What size is your jerry can and how did you manage to secure it? Thanks!
@WeekendSoftRoading

Hi, great question, here is the jerry can I use: amzn.to/3us4AMs its a rotopax and here is the mount I use: amzn.to/3bMy8xT its a EZ Tire kit by Rock-Slide Engineering and lastly the L-Bracket: amzn.to/3o01DiR. Probably overkill these items are really well built and will last years.

What makes crv go saggy on the tail? And what is the max wheelsize without a lift?
@Wolf4wdadventures.576
Жыл бұрын
The rear springs/coils sag after a while, so you either need new coils or spacers to rectify the sag. 2157016 or 2157515

I added Sumosprings part# CSS-1125R to the rear of my CRV to reduce the sagging when loaded

Hey I have an 03 crv with 16inch wheel no lift an tire size recommend for a/t tires
@WeekendSoftRoading
Жыл бұрын
This is the tire size for an 05 CRV which uses 16 inch rims = 215/65R16. I would check out a tire size calculator.

Highway PSI is 35 and I air down to 24/25 PSI. Even when my CRV is now lifted I still air down to 24/25.
