A baseline is always fun to experience before modifying. We decided to take out our stock GR86 and see how it performs at NJMP Lightning. What a blast to drive in its factory form, there is little the casual track driver really needs to do before considering to tracking their GR86. The factory PS4 tires were fun to push about with little to no consequences. We did some basic maintenance like a Motul 660 brake fluid flush and an oil change at 3k miles before going out.

This video was taken on day two after we had swapped in some ISWEEP IS2000 Street Performance Pads. The ISWEEP brake pads were a huge upgrade into T1 braking zone from the factory pads. After a while the factory pads felt to had glazed over and I got some brake fade. The ISWEEP pads brakes considerably better given the IS2000 are more geared towards street driving. We will be testing next the IS3000.
