Home sweet home. I’ve lived in Stockholm my entire life but I’m still often taken aback by how beautiful it is.

Great to see the building that used to house the legendary Polar Music Studios circa 8-10 minutes. 👍

I spent two months in Stockholm, one month in 1971 and one month in 1972, and your Stockholm Walks are doing me a lot of good, first, because they bring back so many memories of the past, especially the beautiful Northern light; second, because I have been locked up at home for almost one month due to the damn coronavirus (COVID-19), and with these videos I feel like a free man again. Thank you, Stockholm.

Thank you! I was on my way to a different location but realized I was about to loose the light and headed for the closest shore.

Watching this video almost 4 years after it was recorded. Everything around is good and calm. Years pass, a lot of bad things happen outside of Sweden, and you have learned how to build a life in such a way that your life remains happy. You are great fellows!!!

The houses on the right at 08:33 look like American skyscrapers. Even a train with a bridge, like in the USA, enters high between houses

Only our tall buildings like these are about 10 stories- not 100… But I see what you mean with the NY vibe.

Beautiful! I recommend you take a left after the stairs by Västermalms båtklubb, instead of a right (1:04) and walk by the shore line, through and pass the cute little allotment houses and Hornsberg, and the cliffs by Kristineberg and Fredhäll and around Kungsholmen to Rålambshovsparken. Perhaps later in the summer, when it´s a bit warmer and there are a lot of people out, having picnics and swimming. It´s quite beautiful and scenic view over Essingefjärden, especially in the late evenings when the sun is setting.

I'm still on my mission to see all your videos(at least once), so i found this one and i know that i was bothering you lately with quite some comments and disturbing your free time, but since the comments are open in this video, the temptation is simply to big and my self-discipline to small... And yes, i could say wow, great buildings, sunlight... but many here said that already...so let me borrow the words from Freddie Mercury : Excellent, my dear!
