In 30 years, I managed my portfolio, including 3 shares of Berkshire Hathaway Class A stock (BRK:A) bought at around $17,000 in the mid-90s. Liquidating some for new Gen. Stocks, I hesitantly invested in NVDA in 2021, alongside BTC and SOL, yielding over 200%. Market insights from YT 'gurus' are lacking, despite my 20 years of experience with Series 6 & 7. Professionals are crucial in investing; unseen market trends require trained eyes. I gained over 350% in semiconductor stocks under my estate planner (FA) through alternative investing, enjoying travel and liquidity perks.

Recently bought some recommended stocks and now they are just penny stocks. There seems to be more negative portfolios in the last 3rd half of 2023 with markets tumbling, soaring inflation, and banks going out of business. My concern is how can the rapid interest-rate hike be of favor to a value investor, or is it better avoiding stocks for a while?

Just ''buy the dip'' man. In the long term it will payoff. High interest rates usually mean lower stock prices, however investors should be cautious of the bull run, its best you connect with a well-qualified adviser to meet your growth goals and avoid blunder.

The US economy is a powerhouse with a diverse range of sectors. The stock market and the dollar have traditionally been safe havens due to their long-term growth and stability. However, potential downturns are part of the economic cycle, and laws are in place to manage defaults and asset seizures. Inflation can be a concern, but remember, certain assets like stocks and Crypto’s acts as a hedge. Long & short-term trading is generally safer, allowing investors to weather market volatility. I have managed to grow a nest egg of around 100k to a decent 430k in the space of a few months... I agree. Based on personal experience working with an investment advlsor, I currently have $985k in a well-diversified portfollo that has experienced exponential growth. It's not only about having money to invest in st0cks, but you also need to be knowledgeable.

Biggest problem for the miners is that unlike the past there are way more options to invest in now. I don't think the historical chart is as predictive as this guy thinks it is. It's not getting any easier to mine with so many obstacles and people just don't view it as a reliable investment. If they come into the sector at all, I think they will look at pure spot price ETF's rather then miners. Gold is gold. Miners are potential gold with endless complications. Why deal with the complications?
@iugomello7612
Ай бұрын
Even if the mining stock goes to 0 (absurd), you still get the dividends from the company mining the gold and selling it for a fortune. You dont need the price of the mining stock to go up for it to be an incredibly good buy, which is why its not just a speculative play - unlike bitcoin.
@gregorygreene1940
Ай бұрын
@@iugomello7612 I think the majority of investors will just go Bitcoin. Miners are in a tough spot for capital.

1929 peak, Dow 18 ounces of US Treasury gold at $380 currency notes. Today, 2024 peak, Dow 18 ounces of gold since 2017, every year, but at $38,000 in currency notes. Go figure. Up 100x in fake currency notes, up ZERO in honest gold ounces.

We have seen this story before. The markets melt up and the narrative is “everything is fine/great.” This time will be much worse given the global debt. The higher these AI driven markets go the harder they will fall. There are safe alternatives now unlike the past 10-20 years of low rates. Best of luck to everyone jumping in now
