Great video. Be interested to know how well the compression coupling holds up.

I’ve used them on suction lines without concern given the lower operating pressures. They claim to be rated above 600 psi. 🤷♂️

I love'em great for using them in places that might cause more issues elsewhere. I use them on evaporators in barback units. Easy to change out the coils when they are eaten up by all the acids. @@restaurantrepairs

@commercial_service agreed - Walkin Evaps with fire sprinklers I won’t even bring torches in the room. These things are solid so far for me. 👍🏼

wow, never seen a whole hose leak like that. What do you call those stainless steel braided hoses for refrigeration? Who carries em?

They are “no-kink” flex hoses. Useful for all manner of remote lineset issues. When precharged linesets quick connects start leaking I just remove them altogether but direct pipe those so equipment can still be moved for cleaning and service. www.supplyhouse.com/Rectorseal-68233-3-8-x-72-NoKink-Flexible-Refrigerant-Line-Connector

Those refrigerant lines look like the same ones that are used in cars and that’s probably why they leak because they can’t withstand the pressure of the refrigerant used
