I have literally viewed this clip hundreds of times since it was first posted some years ago. If any recording exemplifies the attribute I refer to as relentless optimism, this is it. Professor Connors had a remarkable gift for being able to celebrate the best in people, places and things which are often taken for granted. The joy of his recorded legacy is immeasurable and enduring. He is greatly, greatly missed.

Eh, Canada is in America. So is Mexico. So is the US of A. There have been many great Americans, some were Canadian, some were citizens of the US of A, some were neither.. think about those from the Republic of Texas or the confederacy, the Indian Stream Republic, and Mexico (none of which were part of the USA) or those who resisted the Europeans taking over their land... Geronimo, Tecumseh, Sitting Bull, and many others, who were MUCH greater men than the displaced Europeans who have taken over the continent now.

@@fixitmann6685 That's pedantic as fuck. 'CANADA' means community. North America is in the same global community so people from the USA are basically Canadian. That's the level of dumb shit you're saying. Canada treats its First Nations better than the USA too. Not a lot better, but still better.

I really appreciate the quirks of the old structure of KZitem, and how so many of these comments from the past seem to be in response to no one in particular, but perhaps more like non sequiturs. Although, at times I wonder if I should laugh until I cry, or feel triggered, somehow becoming part of the non-specified group merely by reading through the comments. 😂
