would the round stones they use to decorate the mold, would those not make the surface slippery when wet ? i could see using them as decorative stones in the garden, but i would not use them as part of active pathway.

The entire stepping stone is mortar? Is that strong enough to not crack?

I have seen this done where you place the stones in sand. Make you pattern in the sand then pour the concrete over the top of the stones. When it sets, flip it over and rinse away the sand. Have you ever tried this and if so is it easier? Thanks for your video! These are beautiful. :-D

I LIKE your mold, BECAUSE IT'S LARGER than most. All this effort for something on the tiny side makes no sense to me.
