I saw him in 1978 at Hampton Roads coliseum, and remember a beautiful young lady ask me if I would walk with her out , because her bf and her had words and he left her alone and she was so beautiful I was so smitten I didn’t even ask her name or for her number , I’ll never forget that I was 18 now I’m 61 that alone should tell you how awesome she was , I hope she sees this and remembers , I’m sorry for being the second guy that night that fell short I have regretted it ever since !!!!! Hope life has been good to you , I hear this song and it brings that night back !!!!🙏🏻😘

Neil's songs are all classics in my opinion, Stones just proves how great a performer Diamond is. On a summer's day, sit out and enjoy a book while Neil serenades you. Be at peace with the world around you !!

Thank you for this song. It's for my mama who passed away from Alziemer's March 10, 2012. Stones played inside her head. I love you Mom !!

I wonder if Neil Diamond had lived during the 17th Century, would he have been recognized as one of history's great poets. 40 plus years on, this is still one of my favourite songs.

I suspect that it is only when Neil has gone that the world will realise what a genius they have lost.

The yearning in that voice. Man, what I could do with a voice like that. And what he sings about, nature at its most elemental. And this guy is the anti- boaster. The anti-ego. The humble songwriter, "gee maybe I should sing my own songs." ? ?? Duh!

What a reflective song on the scourge of depression. And how friendships and relationships helps one to cope with it and possibly overcome it. " Glory child a good days coming and I'll be there to let the sun in and being lost is worth the coming home"-ND
