Thanks for this. Spent most of the day talking to support & managed to straighten out some of 6+ problems. Had a dozen calls dropped because my phone didn't like talking to someone in the Philippines and Malaysia... Wish I'd come to youtube first. I'm sure I'll find your other videos to be my redemption too After I finish with the ring I've gotta deal with the friggin' Echo 5. Signed, a new grateful subscriber 🙏

I’ve been wanting to get a label printer for my small business for the longest time and finally pulled the trigger. I’m glad I did ! This machine is great kzitem.infoUgkxw55tQTywUAAOsbrlwxONZULry77sFF1Q and the blue/green color matches the rest of the accents in my office. My favorite part is how small the footprint is. It’s less than 1/4 the size of my regular printer.Set up was fairly easy. Seller will email you a link with video instructions Which I found to be more helpful than the written instructions. I use a Mac and had no issues. They even included an adaptor for USB to USB-c which is great because I’m always losing mine! I had a few issues getting the labels to print properly and wasted quite a few sheets. You need to play around with the settings to get everything adjusted just right. If you have the wrong settings, it’ll crop off the edges or feed through blank labels. These aren’t issues with the machine though, just user error.

I have the ring stick up cam plugin and after messing around and testing all the different options for notifications I have settled on person only I have one zone that is the whole picture sensitivity is always on max and I'm detecting people over 30 ft away with no problem I am very impressed with this camera.

Maybe newer models or an update fixed Person Detection, because no issues here. Purchased end of 2022. I didn't even know it was a feature until I installed our new floodlight and saw "Person Detected" while I was standing in front of it setting it up. Pretty cool.

One MAJOR disadvantage is that when a sensor is triggered there is no alert sent as a text message to phones....only email. For example, water/freeze sensor is triggered by a leaking water heater...user does not immediately get a text message on phone...only 12 hours later discovers the problem when reading emails

Wow!! Great feature. I don’t think you can do that exact thing but I’m gonna add that to my video on “products Alexa should make.” A work around might be to set an automation to “record” during a certain times and not record during certain times. Not a perfect solution but… let me know what you end up trying!

I had this today too. The culprit? The thin window next to my front door was in the zone. Which meant the reflections in the window of car traffic set it off. Removed it and all is well now!

I find this system to be pretty flaky, after weeks of dialing this down to the way I want it, ID cars and people in my driveway, it fails to recognize some vehicles and some people "sporadically" (outdoor camera). Every day it misses someone or someone's vehicle currently nearing the end of the pro trial and not seeing it worth paying for since the features it adverts don't really work consistently. Meanwhile I have setup amcrest closed wired system for one client and a lorex wired system and those capture everything without any fiddling with all these settings. The positive its nice when it works and great to be able to talk to someone through the doorbell app, I just think calling it a security system is a bit of a stretch when a wifi-blocker will disable the system

I am trying to figure out how to keep my Ring doorbell 3 plus from sending a "Ta Da!!" notification to my RENNY Bluetooth speaker. This is a special speaker that I can have my phone ring through extremely loud, as I am very hard of hearing. When I hooked my RENNY back up (had to re-pair phone to speaker) all-of-a-sudden a super-loud, super-irritating "Ta Dah!" sound would play through my Renny, maybe a minute after the doorbell detected "someone at your front door" notice that comes through devices and TVs. I've tried to find something in Renny settings and also the Ring app and Ring website. Nothing indicates anything like this. I just want it to stop this notification from going through the Renny Bluetooth phone speaker. Does ANYone know how to do this or even know about this happening to a device that I had no idea could connect with the Ring doorbell. Thanks, everyone!
