I do this standing up in my kitchen. I support myself with my hands on the worktop. My arms are stretched out. Then I take 0.5 to 1 step backwards until my body is bent forwards by about 45°, while it is completely straight, as if I were doing push-ups. Then I push against the worktop with my outstretched arms. Then I lift one knee up and put it down again, then the other. My abdomen is always automatically tensed. If I tighten it, I can bring the right knee to the left elbow. Of course I can't touch it. I can only do it at an angle. And the other side. And then I can try to press both arms together, like tight push-ups for the chest. I do everything at least 30 times per side for 3 to 4 sets. That's really good. Hope it helps some. It helps me a lot because I sit at my desk a lot and work out designs. Afterwards I push my hips down in the same position and overstretch. It's good for straightening up again. You can also make circular movements with your pelvis. After a few days, you notice the positive effect of the exercise. Good luck - I hope it helps some of you.

Is that why body builders, boxers, and other disciplines do traditional crunches, leg raises, and rotation work have been effective forever, as long as you flaturn lower back and draw abbs down, are safe and effective, this is just another version.

Another exercise is hill walking, up and down steep hills, to make it more intense wear a backpack with added weight to walk those hills. Works your legs, your core, your strength endurance for hiking/backpacking.

He is right about sit ups, but I would replace them with crunches. Sitting part of movement is very ineffective, so if you do half sit ups(crunches) it is much more efective, because your muscles spend more time under the tension. For efective training choose exercises in which you can do with clean form from 6 to 30 reps in 1 set.

I hated my PE teacher so much in HS because I had a back injury (slipped disk) when I was 13, and was never exempt from doing sit-ups as part of our PE assessment, despite being in pain and complaining to him about it. My Mom was a Nurse and didn’t even get my doctor to sign an authorization exempting me from this type of exercise as I’ve had back pain all my life that stems from this slipped disk.

Okay, you can’t spot remove fat from anywhere on your body. When he says “an ab workout that shreds belly fat”-he’s lying to his entire audience for views. Working out a muscle group DOES NOT burn the fat around it. Total nonsense from a workout tic tocker. Want abs? Do resistance training and lower your body fat %
