I love what he said about touch. My work as a massage therapist confirms that the energy of touch can have tremendous healing effects.

Absolutely. So much research on the primal importance of touch for humans! I wrote a whole chapter on this in my last book, The Stress Solution!

Interesting. Wonder what it means if you perceive being touched as too intense, too intrusive. No healing available then.....

This podcast will save my life. Dr. C you are so right and you speak from your heart. I am going to consume all that I can learn from you. Dr. please never lose your mission of helping others without putting mind altering drugs in patients like most other docs will do and have done so much in the past 13 years. Thank you from the bottom of my soul. 🙏❤️

Love his information on how although we're more "connected" in many ways through technology, we're actually detached which can often lead to depression and stress. Will be nice to have more doctors prescribing personal connections as anecdotes as well as a whole food plant based diet or something very close to it a la the Blue Zones.
@DrChatterjeeRangan

Great point - I would love to see more doctors prescribing more connection. There is a movement in the UK called 'social prescribing' which is really helping!

There is no French paradox. The reason for the “French paradox” is due to French physicians under reporting deaths due to ischemic heart disease by about 20%. Eating animal food in large quantity is bad for your arteries and adding wine will not help.

You can't have human physical contact anymore. This distance us even further away from each other. We should go to other way to be honest. You get more relaxed in your body and towards the people around you when there is a lot of physical contacts.
