To be fair, that was during a time even a couple years ago when explicitly conservative media outlets had a bad collective reputation for fear mongering and constantly connecting social issues to the direct destruction of the family unit... Now sometimes I think they're onto something -as speculative as their ideas can be - but I totally get why Maher dismissed that idea that it would take over society to some extent. This is because many right wingers have been constantly braying about this and that social trend that will destroy the human race, so it's hard to tell when they're actually correct

I hate this about Americans. They take it as a given that America is the way things are supposed to be, And other countries need to be made to be like America, In this case turning London into a multicultural city and reducing the indigenous population. They're doing the same thing in Japan, You always see comments about how "Japan has a long way to go" "Japan has too many Japanese" "We need to bring progress to Japan" They never stop to consider that maybe they're the ones who need to make progress and Japan might actually be the one ahead of them.

I grew up in a privileged household in what was then called the Third World. My family moved to the West (at the time West Germany) shortly before the wall came down. After three military dictatorships and having seen people die in the gutter out of sheer poverty, I know very well where I want to live and where I don't. We, the West, need to control access to our societies in order to maintain a place for modern humanity to live. Not out of fear, but out of a sense of duty to preserve what has been achieved.

Utter bollocks. You need to stop interfering in other countries first. Wherever the West has interfered in the past 70 years unless it was Yugoslavia or Somalia, it has made things worse. What the west and particularly the US needs to do is to reform its trade system to share its wealth with the less well off and lift the standard of living in all countries. This is the only way to make the west truly safe. For christs sake.

How people don't view this as an ethnic cleansing, or replacement is mind-boggling. Imagine saying... Getting less POCs around and more Whites is "Good Progress" They would clearly see how wrong it is then though. If China lets in 10% White people into their Country, then 20%, then those 20% whites convince the Chinese that they are evil because they are not diverse enough yet, so China lets in even more. Now 30%, 40%, then 50%. Then those new White immigrants to China which are now 50% of the Country start to make the governments look like them, the media look like them, the billboards, the movies, everything look like them. There is absolutely NO WAY you could say the Chinese weren't clearly replaced. This is what is happening to western White Countries. People are gonna look back in 100 yrs and be like "What happened to the White European Countries long ago?" "Did they lose a war for their land or something?" Nope they just replaced themselves. They gave their land to people of other Countries out of guilt lol. Just kept letting everyone from other Countries in until it was no longer theirs 😂🤣😂🤣 China probably thinks we are dumb as $h!t, or they are behind the west's demographic changes themselves???

Then, out of nowhere, he shows a picture of Saddam Hussein. The room went quiet. His take was something like, you have to be glad the guy is gone. Why is that progress? What should the number be? Should Beijing be 20% Chinese? Is the whole point that Britain should not be a white country? Or that the ruling class in a predominantly white country should be non-white? Is that the "virtuous" position? (Wikipedia says Britain is 88% white, London is 53% white). Again, what's the "right" answer? If the goal is a world-wide uniform "brown", then Europe and American get points for being much further along than Africa or Asia.

Yes, it's a real, diagnosable mental illness called "Trump Anxiety Disorder", even though it'll probably never get into the DSM. I voted for Hillary in 2016 so I've been on that side. But then Trump won and. . . not only did the world NOT end, my life was much more secure during his presidency than before; and America was respected by the countries who mock us now. And fwiw, I'm NOT white and I'm NOT a man. Trump can be crude and rude, and I wouldn't want to be his wife, but he did make America safer both here and abroad. Bill just has Trump Anxiety Disorder (and WAY more money than the average American like me) so he's incapable of acknowledging ANYTHING good about Trump. Cognitive dissonance (the obvious ones even I could figure out) 13:43 Asked if there is a middle way, ie partially deny ”Trans women are women”, ducks the question. 14:52 Asked again, says he does not ”want to pretend” implicates people think the question is too dangerous, but still does not say it right out. 34:30 ”Looks like its the same now.” Ducks the immigration question because he cant even say ”maybe Trump was right”, or criticize Biden. Instead criticizes ”the republicans” for immigration. 37:45 ”Trump is Hitler!”, ”but Im not comparing him to Hitler.” 38:38 ”Trump is stupid, and a genius” 39:46 ”Trump does not concede elections” (and the implications is that makes him evil) 40:35 Tries to deny that Hillary did not concede the election. Since the Trigg guys are smart, the were prepared. But later Bill only admits that one time. 40:39 Konstantin declares that the ”Russia collusion” story is election denial. Important context. 40:55 Bill disagrees and ”Trump won the election , partly because ’Russia collusion’.” ”Very close election.” So Bill denies the results of the 2016 election. 41:40 Denies Hillary denied the election more than once. I am not american but I have heard her say it multiple times calling him a ”false president”. Calls the Trigg guys ”ridiculous” for comparing Trump and Hillary election denial. They took it well. Hillary did not take it to court, but there were lots of demonstrations against Trump. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Timeline_of_protests_against_Donald_Trump 41:45 ”Democrats are not the ones denying elections.” Except that ”one” time Hillary did it, and when Bill did it just now when he said Trump only won because of Russia collusion. Did Russia utilize social media advertising and groups? Sure. Did individuals in the Trump campaign meet with people connected with Russia? It seems they did due to false representations by the foreign agents. Did this affect the election? I find that doubtful. Most of the people either in the groups or seeing the advertising were getting those views because they already had a particular viewpoint... you weren't changing anyone's mind. And at the end of the day the voters, not the bots, turned out to the polls. Now, will say that in contrast to Hillary and the 2016 election, in 2020 (and since) the denial/challenges to the results have been MORE common of a theme.... but trying to act like having some denial of the results, or some excuse for why the winner didn't ACTUALLY win is not new. We had it in 2000 with complaints that there was not a 4th recount in a selected district (to say nothing of complaints about the electoral vote versus the popular vote), we had some in 2008 with complaints about voter intimidation at polls (Philadelphia comes to mind off hand), we had it in 2016 as covered here, and now in 2020 over various emergency changes related to Covid.

During covid we were essential workers so we had to show up same as always. We were scraping ice off our windshields in the cold winter, having to heat up the truck, had to be at work at at a certain time, work, then at lunch had 25 minutes to microwave our lunch, or eat it cold, then be back out on the floor while others sat at home in front of a computer in their bathrobe. I got tired of people who complained about staying at home , or they were victims, while guys like us literally did the heavy lifting to keep the country moving. Countries like Poland and Hungary take a lot of grief for their stances on immigration but to me it seems perfectly reasonable why they wouldn't want to take in thousands upon thousands of people of a completely different cultural, religious and ethnic background. Backgrounds that are often at odds with and incompatible with theirs. What is so wrong with the citizens of those countries wanting their country to be populated by people like them? Why is it wrong for them to want their countries to stay like they are and not be drastically and permanently changed, and not for the better?

The most "diverse" country the world has ever known was the Austro-Hungarian empire at the start of WWI. They were so diverse, they had military units where the soldiers spoke 5 different languages and had to be given orders in the language they understood. They were so permeated by their version of DEI that they couldn't even win battles against tiny little Serbia. Of course, they lost the war, and their diversity was destroyed as each constituent part shattered into its own fractured nation. The repercussions continued to reverberate through history into the 1990s with the racial hatred in Serbia and its neighbor nations.

Biden & Taliban discussed who will control Kabul after President Ghani departed. Biden declined the Taliban's offer to let the U.S. Military control Kabul during the final days. Article: On 2021 Aug 30 the Washington Post reported that the Taliban offered to allow the U.S. military to take responsibility for security in Kabul - but we declined. In other words, our dependence on the Taliban for security in Kabul was not a fait accompli, but a choice - an American choice. The negligence and incompetence of this decision is simply stunning. The American people need answers to pressing questions. The Post report says Biden remained determined throughout the day to withdraw all U.S. troops, and that McKenzie was “aware” of Biden’s orders when he turned down the opportunity the Taliban presented. Did McKenzie relay the Taliban’s offer to the president? Did he ask for additional troops to secure the capital? Did Biden decline to provide them? google: greenlighting talibans takeover kabul is national disgrace
